The details of the soundtrack album for the supernatural thriller Ghost Stories have been revealed. The album features the film’s original music composed and conducted by Frank Ilfman (Big Bad Wolves, The Etruscan Smile) who recorded his score with the London Metropolitan Orchestra at Air Lyndhurst Studios. Also included are the songs Why by Anthony Newley and Monster Mash by Bobby ‘Boris’ Pickett. The soundtrack will be released digitally and physically on April 13, 2018 by Varese Sarabande and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Ghost Stories is directed by Jeremy Dyson & Andy Nyman and stars Martin Freeman, Andy Nyman, Paul Whitehouse and Alex Lawther. The movie follows an arch sceptic professor who embarks upon a terror filled quest when he stumbles across a long lost file containing details of three cases of inexplicable ‘hauntings’. The thriller premiered at last year’s London Film Festival and will be released theatrically in the UK on April 6. IFC Midnight has picked up domestic distribution rights for a release later this year. Visit the official movie website for updates.
