The only movie opening nationwide this weekend is Marvel Studios’ Avengers: Infinity War directed by Joe & Anthony Russo and starring Robert Downey Jr., Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Evans, Scarlett Johansson, Benedict Cumberbatch, Josh Brolin and Chris Pratt. The film’s original music is composed by Alan Silvestri (Back to the Future, Forrest Gump). Marvel Music/Hollywood Records have released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score in two different editions. Click here for the full details.

Opening in limited release is the romantic drama Disobedience co-written and directed by Sebastián Lelio and starring Rachel Weisz, Rachel McAdams and Alessandro Nivola. Matthew Herbert (Life in a Day) who previously scored the director’s Academy Award-winning feature A Fantastic Woman has composed the film’s original music. Ludwig Goransson and Nathan Matthew David have composed the original score for the upcoming horror comedy Slice. The film is written and directed by Austin Vesely and stars Zazie Beetz, Will Brill and Chance the Rapper. The movie takes place in mysterious city and centers around an enigmatic outlaw framed for a killing spree that targets unsuspecting pizza delivery boys. Brandon Riley is producing the comedy. Soundtrack Album for USA’s ‘The Sinner’ to Be Released

Lakeshore Records will release a soundtrack album for the USA original series The Sinner. The album features selections of the original score from the show’s first season composed by Ronit Kirchman. The soundtrack will be released digitally on May 11, 2018 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. The Sinner is created by Derek Simonds and stars Jessica Biel, Bill Pullman and Christopher Abbott. The show’s first season is based on the novel of the same title by Petra Hammesfahr and follows a young mother who, when overcome by an inexplicable fit of rage, commits a startling act of violence and to her horror has no idea why. Sony Classical will release a score album for the comedy Overboard. The album features the film’s original music composed by Lyle Workman (The 40-Year Old Virgin, Superbad, Love, Crashing, Forgetting Sarah Marshall). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, April 27 and will be available to download on Amazon, where you can also check out audio samples. As previously reported, a separate soundtrack featuring the songs from the movie is also being released tomorrow. Varese Sarabande will release a soundtrack album for Sebastián Lelio’s drama Disobedience. The album features the film’s original music composed by Matthew Herbert (A Fantastic Woman, Life in a Day). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, April 27 and will be available to download on Amazon. Disobedience is co-written and directed by Lelio and stars Rachel Weisz, Rachel McAdams and Alessandro Nivola. La-La Land Records has announced a new soundtrack album for David Fincher’s 1992 sci-fi horror sequel Alien 3 starring Sigourney Weaver, Charles S. Dutton and Charles Dance. The album features the expanded original score from the 20th Century Fox production composed and orchestrated by Academy Award winner Elliot Goldenthal (Frida, Interview with the Vampire, Heat, Batman Forever, S.W.A.T., Public Enemies), including over 40 minutes of previously unreleased music. The 2-CD set, which is limited to 3500 copies, is now available to order on the label’s official website, where you can also listen to audio samples and check out the full track list. The full details of the soundtrack album for Marvel Studios’ Avengers: Infinity War have been revealed. The album features the film’s original music composed by Alan Silvestri (Back to the Future, Forrest Gump, Ready Player One, Predator, The Croods) who has previously scored the studios’  original 2012 Avengers movie, as well 2011’s Captain America: The First Avenger. The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, April 27 in two different editions and physically on May 18 by Marvel Music and Hollywood Records. ‘Wonder Park’ to Feature Original Song by Rachel Platten

It was announced during Paramount Pictures’ presentation at CinemaCon in Las Vegas that singer/songwriter Rachel Platten has recorded an original song for the upcoming animated feature Wonder Park. The track, entitled Wonder, will be featured in the movie, which stars Matthew Broderick, Jennifer Garner, Jeffrey Tambor, Kenan Thompson, Ken Jeong, Mila Kunis and John Oliver. The album features the film’s original music composed by James Edward Barker (Heist, Precious Cargo, Rise of the Footsoldier 3). The soundtrack will be released digitally this Friday, April 27 by Varese Sarabande and will be available to download on Amazon. Lean on Pete is written and directed by Haigh and stars Charlie Plummer, Steve Buscemi, Chloe Sevigny, Travis Fimmel, Steve Zahn, Amy Seimetz and Thomas Mann. The show is created by Taylor Sheridan (Wind River, Sicario, Hell or High Water) and stars Kevin Costner, Wes Bentley, Kelly Reilly, Luke Grimes, Cole Hauser, Dave Annable, Danny Huston, Gil Birmingham, Jefferson White, Gretchen Mol, Jill Hennessey, Patrick St. Esprit, Ian Bohen and Denim Richards. The drama revolves around the violent world of the Dutton family, owners of the largest ranch in the United States.
