Gaumont has released a soundtrack album for the French/Canadian comedy drama My Mother, God, and Sylvie Vartan (Ma mère, Dieu et Sylvie Vartan). The album features the film’s original music composed by Nicolas Errèra (Hidden Man, Raging Fire, Survive, The Extraordinary Journey of the Fakir, Adoring, Shaolin, The Serpent’s Path, Mountain Cry). The movie is based on Roland Perez’s novel of the same name and tells the story of a boy born with a clubfoot and his mother who decides to do everything in her power to ensure that her son is not handicapped all his life.

The movie is based on a novel by Romain Puertolas follows a hustler from Mumbai who embarks on an extraordinary voyage across Europe in search of his estranged father.

Alex Wurman is the composer of the upcoming comedy Unfinished Business. The film is directed by Ken Scott (Delivery Man, Starbuck) and stars Vince Vaughn, Tom Wilkinson, Dave Franco, Sienna Miller, Nick Frost and James Marsden. The movie follows a relentless businessman with his own company who heads to Germany with his only two employees to clinch a make-or-break deal. Steven Conrad (The Pursuit of Happyness, The Secret Life of Walter Mitty) has written the screenplay. Arnon Milchan (Gone Girl, Birdman) is producing the Escape Artists and New Regency production with Todd Black & Jason Blumenthal (The Equalizer, Knowing, The Weather Man), Steve Tisch (Forrest Gump) and Anthony Katagas (12 Years a Slave, Killing Them Softly).
Jon Brion Scoring ‘Starbuck’ Remake ‘Delivery Man’
Jon Brion is currently scoring the upcoming comedy Delivery Man. The film written and directed by Ken Scott is a remake of the director’s French-Canadian 2011 film Starbuck and stars Vince Vaughn, Chris Pratt, Cobie Smulders, Britt Robertson and Jack Reynor. The movie follows a man who is informed that he has fathered 533 children via sperm donations he made twenty years earlier. When a few hundred of the children want to meet their father, he must decide whether or not he will step up and reveal his identity. Andre Rouleau (Goon, An American Haunting) is producing the DreamWorks Pictures production and Scott Mednick, Ray Angelic (Synecdoche, New York) and Mark Sourian are executive producing.
