Three new movies are opening in theaters nationwide this weekend:

Expected to top the weekend box office is the biographical drama Bohemian Rhapsody directed by Bryan Singer and starring Rami Malek, Lucy Boynton, Gwilym Lee, Ben Hardy, Joseph Mazzello, Aiden Gillen, Tom Hollander and Mike Myers. The movie doesn’t feature an original score. Hollywood Records has released a soundtrack album featuring the songs from the film performed by Queen. Also opening wide is the fantasy adventure The Nutcracker and the Four Realms directed by Lasse Hallstrom and starring Keira Knigthley, Mackenzie Foy, Misty Copeland, Morgan Freeman and Helen Mirren. James Newton Howard (The Hunger GamesKing KongThe Sixth Sense) has composed the film’s score based on themes from Tchaikovsky’s classic 1892 ballet score. Walt Disney Records has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score, as well an original song performed by Andrea Bocelli. Click here for the full album details.

Also opening nationwide is the comedy Nobody’s Fool written and directed by Tyler Perry and stars Tiffany Haddish, Tika Sumpter, Omari Hardwick, Mehcad Brooks, Amber Riley and Whoopi Goldberg. The film’s original score is composed by Philip White (Boo 2! A Madea Halloween, Tyler Perry’s a Madea Family Funeral) and produced by Christopher Lennertz (Lost in Space, Horrible Bosses). Opening in limited release is the drama Boy Erased written and directed by Joel Edgerton and starring Lucas Hedges, Nicole Kidman, Russell Crowe, Edgerton himself, Cherry Jones, Michael Balzary, Xavier Dolan and Jesse LaTourette. Danny Bensi & Saunder Jurriaans (The Gift, Ozark, Enemy, Martha Marcy May Marlene) have composed the film’s original score. Back Lot Music has released a soundtrack album featuring the composers’ music, as well as the original song Revelation performed by Troye Sivan & Jónsi. Also opening in limited release is the drama A Private War directed by Matthew Heineman and starring Rosamund Pike, Jamie Dornan, Stanley Tucci and Tom Hollander. The film’s original score is composed by H. Scott Salinas (Cartel Land, Birth of the Dragon, The Ballad of Lefty Brown). Varese Sarabande has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score, as well as the original song Requiem for a Private War written and performed by Annie Lennox. Also opening in select theaters is the satire Bodied directed by Joseph Kahn and starring Calum Worthy, Jackie Long, Charlamagne Tha God, Anthony Michael Hall, Rory Uphold, Dumbfoundead, Walter Perez, Shoniqua Shandai, Dizaster, Debra Wilson and Loaded Lux. Brain and Melissa have composed the film’s original score. A soundtrack album featuring the score was released earlier this year (click here for the full album details) and a separate soundtrack featuring the songs from the movie is in the works. Also opening in select cities is the documentary In Search of Greatness directed by Gabe Polsky. The movie follows a group of top athletes, including Michael Jordan, Pelé, Jerry Rice and Wayne Gretzky, explore the importance of nature versus nurture in determining athletic ability. The film’s original score is composed by Leo Birenberg (Cobra Kai, Son of Zorn) who previously co-scored Polsky’s Red Army with Christophe Beck. No word yet on a soundtrack album. Another limited release this week is the sci-fi western Prospect written and directed by Zeek Earl & Christopher Caldwell and starring Sophie Thatcher, Pedro Pascal, Jay Duplass, Andre Royo, Sheila Vand and Anwan Glover. Daniel L.K. Caldwell has composed the film’s original music. Lakeshore Records will release a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score next Friday, November 9. Also opening in select theaters is the South Korean zombie thriller Rampant directed by Kim Sung-hoon and starring Hyun Bin and Jang Dong-gun. The film’s original music is composed by Inyoung Park (Pieta, Moebius, The Target). A soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score has been released a couple of days ago. Also opening in select cities is the period drama In Harm’s Way directed by Bille August and starring Emile Hirsch and Crystal Yifei Liu. Annette Focks (55 Steps, The Poll Diaries, Ostwind) has composed the film’s original music. No word yet on a soundtrack release. the movie set after the attack on Pearl Harbor when a unit of the U.S. Air Force is forced to make an emergency landing in Zhejiang Province, China. The drama, which was originally entitled The Chinese Widow, is being released in the U.S. by Shout! Studios

Also opening in select theaters while also premiering on Netflix today is Orson Welles’ final movie The Other Side of the Wind starring John Huston, Oja Kodar and Peter Bogdanovich. Michel Legrand (The Thomas Crown Affair, Yentl, Never Say Never Again) has composed the film’s original music. No soundtrack album has been released yet. The movie, which follows a legendary director struggles to complete a new project and contemplates his legacy, is now available to stream on Netflix.
