The only movie opening nationwide this week is Marvel’s Avengers: Endgame directed by Anthony & Joe Russo and stars Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner, Paul Rudd, Brie Larson and Josh Brolin. The film’s original music is composed by Alan Silvestri (Back to the Future, Forrest Gump, Captain America: The First Avenger, The Croods). Marvel Music & Hollywood Records have released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score. Click here for the full album details.

Opening in limited release is the biographical drama The White Crow directed by Ralph Fiennes and starring Fiennes himself, Oleg Ivenko, Adèle Exarchopoulos, Sergei Polunin, Chulpan Khamatova and Louis Hofmann. Ilan Eshkeri (Stardust, Layer Cake, Still Alice, Kick-Ass, Johnny English Reborn) has composed the film’s original score and also arranged ballet compositions by Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, Alexander Krein & Ludwig Minkus. Soundtrack Album for Josh Lobo’s ‘I Trapped the Devil’ Released

Lakeshore Records has released a soundtrack album for the horror thriller I Trapped the Devil. The album features the film’s original music composed by Ben Lovett (The Signal, The Ritual, The Wind, Black Rock, Synchronicity). The soundtrack is now available to download on iTunes, where you can also check out audio samples. I Trapped the Devil is written and directed by Josh Lobo and stars AJ Bowen, Jocelin Donahue, Scott Poythress, Susan Burke, Chris Sullivan, Rowan Russell and Josh Marrott. The movie follows a man and his wife who show up unannounced at the home of his estranged brother to celebrate the holidays, but instead they are greeted with a man who is being held hostage in the basement. Lorne Balfe (Mission: Impossible – Fallout, The LEGO Batman Movie, Terminatory Genisys, Home, Pacific Rim Uprising) has composed the original music for the upcoming drama Georgetown. The film marks the feature directorial debut of Academy Award-winning actor Christoph Waltz who also stars in the movie alongside Annette Bening, Vanessa Redgrave and Corey Hawkins. The movie is based on the New York Times Magazine article by Franklin Foer and follows an ambitious social climber who marries a wealthy widow in Washington D.C. in order to mix with powerful political players. The album features selections of the show’s original music composed by John Murphy (Sunshine, 28 Days Later.., Snatch, Millions, Kick-Ass). Les Miserables is developed by Andrew Davies based on Victor Hugo’s novel and stars Dominic West, David Oyelowo, Lily Collins, Adeel Akhtar, Olivia Colman, Ellie Bamber, Josh O’Connor and Erin Kellyman. WaterTower Music will release the official soundtrack album for the monster movie Godzilla: King of the Monsters. The album features the film’s original music composed by Bear McCreary (10 Cloverfield Lane, The Walking Dead, Battlestar Galactica, Happy Death Day, Outlander, Colossal). ‘Echo in the Canyon’ Soundtrack Album Announced

BMG has announced a soundtrack album for the documentary Echo in the Canyon. The album features music from and inspired by the film, including songs by The Byrds, The Mamas & The Papas and more, as interpreted by artists from the film including Fiona Apple, Beck, Cat Power, Eric Clapton, Norah Jones, Regina Spektor, Stephen Stills, Neil Young, as well as a special performance of the Monkees’ She with Josh Homme. A first track, Jakob Dylan & Jade Castrinos’ cover of Go Where You Wanna Go, is already available to download here. The full soundtrack will be released digitally on May 24 and is now available for pre-order here. Echo in the Canyon is directed by Andrew Slater and celebrates the explosion of popular music that came out of LA’s Laurel Canyon in the mid-60s as folk went electric and The Byrds, The Beach Boys, Buffalo Springfield and The Mamas and the Papas gave birth to the California Sound. Hollywood Records and Marvel Music will release the official soundtrack album for Marvel Studios’ Avengers: Endgame. The album features the film’s original music composed by Alan Silvestri (Back to the Future, Forrest Gump) who previously scored the original Avengers movie, as well as last year’s Avengers: Infinity War and Captain America: The First Avenger. The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, April 26 and will be available to download here.
