Kris Bowers is scoring the upcoming drama Green Book. The film is directed by Peter Farrelly (There’s Something About Mary, Dumb and Dumber, Me, Myself & Irene) and stars Viggo Mortensen, Mahershala Ali and Linda Cardellini. Milan Records will release a soundtrack album for the action thriller Black Water. The album features the film’s original music composed by Spencer Creaghan (Nobody Famous). The soundtrack will be released digitally on June 29, 2018 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Black Water is directed by Pasha Patriki and stars Jean-Claude Van Damme and Dolph Lundgren. The movie revolves around a deep-cover operative imprisoned on a CIA submarine who teams with a fellow prisoner to escape the vessel and expose who set him up. Kevin Lax has composed the original score for the fourth installment in The Purge series, The First Purge. The film is directed by Gerard McMurray and stars Y’Lan Noel, Lex Scott Davis, Joivan Wade, Luna Lauren Velez and Marisa Tomei. The movie is a prequel and focuses on the events that lead up to the very first Purge event. James DeMonaco who directed the first three installments has written the screenplay and is also producing the project with Blumhouse Productions’ Jason Blum (Get Out, Paranormal Activity, Insidious) and Platinum Dunes’ Michael Bay, Brad Fuller & Andrew Form (A Quiet Place, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles), as well as Sébastien K. The film is directed by Christian Rivers and stars Hugo Weaving Hera Hilmar, Robert Sheehan, Jihae, Ronan Rafterty, Leila George, Patrick Maladhide and Stephen Lang.
