The film is written and directed by Shyalaman (The Sixth Sense, Signs, Unbreakable) and stars Josh Hartnett and Saleka Shyamalan. The movie revolves around a father and teen daughter who attend a pop concert, where they realize they’re at the center of a dark and sinister event. Lee Mendelson Film Productions has announced the premiere release of the complete soundtrack for the 1969 animated television special It Was a Short Summer, Charlie Brown created by Charles M. Schulz and directed by Bill Melendez. The album features the original music from the sixth Peanuts special composed by Vince Guaraldi (A Charlie Brown Christmas, It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown, A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving, A Boy Named Charlie Brown), including the original recordings that comprise the song cues of the special, as well as another six previously unreleased bonus/alternative tracks. The 55th Anniversary Edition will first be available as a vinyl edition at participating stores starting April 20, 2024 as part of Record Store Day and be released digitally and physically everywhere on July 5.
