Hanan Townshend (Knights of Cup, To the Wonder, The Vessel) has composed the music for the upcoming crime thriller Semper Fi. The film is directed by Henry-Alex Rubin (Disconnect, Murderball) and stars Sam Claflin, Jai Courtney, Nat Wolff, Finn Wittrock and Beau Knapp, Arturo Castro and Leighton Meester. The movie follows a by-the-book police officer who makes ends meet as a Marine Corps reservist whose reckless half-brother accidentally kills a guy in a bar fight and tries to flee. Invada Records will release a soundtrack album for the sci-fi thriller Elizabeth Harvest. The album features the film’s original music composed by Rachel Zeffira of Cat’s Eyes (The Duke of Burgundy). The soundtrack will be released digitally on on vinyl on January 25, 2019. The film is directed by Robert Budreau (Born to Be Blue, Stockholm) and stars Stanley Tucci, Kristen Scott Thomas, Jean Reno and Tom Wilkinson. The movie is set in 1940s Paris and revolves around a successful brothel owner who is asked by the government to restore the city’s image after the Nazi Occupation and falls in love when he least expects it. Popsicle has released a soundtrack album for the Czech coming-of-age comedy drama Winter Flies (Všechno Bude). The album features the film’s original music composed by Monika Midriakova, Paweł Szamburski and Simon Holy. Henry Jackman has confirmed in a recent interview with Film.Music.Media that he is set to score the upcoming Netflix original movie Dhaka. The film marks the feature directorial debut of Sam Hargrave and stars Chris Hemsworth, David HarbourGolshifteh Farahani, Randeep Hooda and Rudhraksh Jaiswal. The action adventure follows a mercenary who has to liberate a kidnapped Indian boy who is being hidden in Dhaka and has to come to terms with his identity and sense of self. The episode directed by David Slade (Hard Candy, The Twilight Saga: Eclipse) and starring Fionn Whitehead, Will Poulter and Asim Chaudhry is set in 1984 and follows a young programmer who begins to question reality as he adapts a sprawling fantasy novel into a video game and soon faces a mind-mangling challenge.
