Milan Records will release a soundtrack album for the sci-fi noir thriller April X.. The album features the film’s original music composed by Matthew Atticus Berger (A Party to Die For, Patrick and the Whale, Bending the Arc, Dead in the Water, Christmas Harmony). Amanda Achen is the featured vocalist on all tracks. The soundtrack will be released digitally on September 18 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. A first track (He Won’t Get Far ) is already available to stream/download now and can also be checked out after the jump. April X is co-written and directed by Michel K. Parandi and stars Connor Storrie and Lilly Krug. The movie folllows a black-market body-parts hustler who searches every corner of their futuristic, post-Soviet cityscape to find his missing twin sister and is forced to confront the cost of identity, love and survival as he is descending into a violet criminal underworld and madness. The thriller premiered at last year’s Rhode Island International Film Festival and will open in UK and Irish theaters on September 18 before being released in U.S. theaters on October 2 by Sunrise Films and Rialto.
