The album features a selection of songs from the show’s first season, including Skylar Grey’s original song New Kind of Love, Emeli Sandé’s cover of For Once In My Life, Lily Moore’s cover of Heart of Glass and . Also included are tracks by Jamie N Common, Calum Scott, HRVY & others. The soundtrack is now available to download on Amazon, where you can also listen to audio clips. ‘Dark’ Cycle 2 Soundtrack Album Released

Lakeshore Records and Invada Records have released the second soundtrack album for the German Netflix original series Dark. The album features selections of the original music from the show’s second season composed by Ben Frost (Super Dark Times, Sleeping Beauty, Fortitude, The Deep). Dark – Cycle 2 is now available to download on Amazon, where you can also check out the track list and listen to audio samples. A first soundtrack album for the drama featuring the composer’s score from the first season was released back in June. Dark is created by Baran bo Odar & Jantje Friese and tells the story of a missing child who sets four families on a frantic hunt for answers as they unearth a mind-bending mystery that spans three generations. Michael Giacchino (Up, Star Trek, Lost, Jurassic World, The Incredibles, Ratatouille) is teaming up with Nami Melumad (Absentia) to score the upcoming comedy An American Pickle. The film marks the feature solo directorial debut of cinematographer Brandon Trost and stars Seth Rogen, Maya Erskine and Sarah Snook. The movie revolves around an immigrant worker at a pickle factory who is accidentally preserved for a century and wakes up in modern day Brooklyn. Simon Rich (Man Seeking Woman, Miracle Workers) wrote the screenplay. Rogen is also producing the Point Grey production with Evan Goldberg (This Is the End, The Interview) and James Weaver (Neighbors, The Disaster Artist). Read the rest of this entry »

Warner Bros. Pictures has announced today that Bruce Springsteen has composed the original score for his upcoming directorial debut Western Stars. The film co-directed by Springsteen and Thom Zimny (Elvis Presley: The Searcher, Springsteen on Broadway) is a cinematic film version of his latest album of the same title and follows the singer/songwriter as he performs his critically acclaimed latest album and muses on life, rock, and the American dream.
