Premiering tonight is the HBO docu-series The Vow directed and executive produced by Jehane Noujaim & Karim Amer about the self-improvement group NXIVM, whose leaders have been charged with sex trafficking and racketeering conspiracy. The show’s original music is composed by Mac Quayle (Mr. Robot, American Horror Story, American Crime Story, Feud: Bette and Joan, Pose, Scream Queens, The Politician). Check out our previous news article for more information about the 9-parter, which will air every Sunday night on HBO and will also be available to stream on HBO Max.

Premiering on Wednesday, August 26 is the Netflix documentary Rising Phoenix directed by Ian Bonhote & Peter Ettedgui about the Paralympic Games and its evolution from the rubble of World War II to the third biggest sporting event on the planet. Daniel Pemberton (Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, The Man from U.N.C.L.E., Steve Jobs, Birds of Prey, King Arthur: Legend of the Sword). 1812 Recordings will release a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score on Wednesday (click here for the full album details) and the original title song by Pemberton, Georgetragic, Toni Hickman & Keith Jones is already available as a digital single now (click here to listen to the track). Terence Blanchard (BlacKkKlansman, Malcolm X, 25th Hour, Inside Man, Red Tails, Da 5 Bloods) has composed the original music for the upcoming drama One Night in Miami. The film marks the feature directorial debut of actress Regina King and stars Kingsley Ben-Adir, Eli Goree, Aldis Hodge, Leslie Odom Jr., Lance Reddick, Jasmine Cephas Jones, Michael Imperioli and Beau Bridges. The movie is written by Kemp Powers based on his 2013 stage play of the same title and centers on a 1964 meeting between Malcolm X, Muhammad Ali, Sam Cooke and Jim Brown. WaterTower Music has released the first track from the soundtrack for Patty Jenkins’ superhero movie Wonder Woman 1984. Themyscira composed by the film’s composer Hans Zimmer (The Dark Knight, Man of Steel, Inception, The Lion King, Gladiator, Dunkirk) is now available to stream/download as a digital single here. Hollywood Records has released the new song 6ft from Love from the Freeform limited series Love in the Time of Corona. The track is written by Sofia Quinn, Austin Zudeck & Justin Thunstrom and performed by Rainsford (aka  Rainey Qualley) who also stars in the show. The song is now available to stream/download as a digital single on Amazon. Listen to the full track after the jump. Love in the Time of Corona is created by Joanna Johnson and stars Leslie Odom Jr., Nicolette Robinson, Tommy Dorfman, Qualley, Gil Bellows, Rya Kihlstedt, Ava Bellows and L. Scott Caldwell. Opening in theaters nationwide today is the psychological thriller Unhinged directed by Derrick Borte and starring Russell Crowe, Caren Pistorius, Gabriel Bateman, Jimmi Simpson and Austin P. McKenzie. The film’s original music is composed by David Buckley (The Good Wife, The Forbidden Kingdom, Angel Has Fallen, Papillon, The Stranger). Sol B Music has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score, as well as Keep Shelly in Athens’ cover of (Don’t Fear) The Reaper. Opening semi-wide in around 900 theaters is the drama Words on Bathroom Walls directed by Thor Freudenthal and starring Charlie Plummer, Taylor Russell, AnnaSophia Robb, Devon Bostick, Beth Grant, Andy Garcia, Molly Parker, Lobo Sebastian and Walton Goggins. The Chainsmokers and Andrew Hollander (Waitress,  Sleepwalk with Me, Gray Matters,  Serious Moonlight) have composed the film’s original music. Columbia Records has released a soundtrack album featuring the score, as well as two songs by The Chainsmokers. ‘Tenet’ Soundtrack Album Details

WaterTower Music will release the official soundtrack album for Christopher Nolan’s Tenet. The album features the film’s original music composed by Academy Award winner Ludwig Göransson (Black Panther, Creed, Community, The Mandalorian, Venom). Also included is the original song The Plan performed by Travis Scott and co-written by Scott, Göransson & WondaGurl (available as a digital single now). The soundtrack will be released digitally on September 3, 2020 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Tenet is written and directed by Nolan and stars John David Washington, Robert Pattinson, Elizabeth Debicki, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Clémence Poésy, Dimple Kapadia,  Michael Caine, Kenneth Branagh and Himesh Patel.
