‘Fleak’ Soundtrack Released

Kayax Distribution has released a soundtrack album for the animated feature Fleak. The album features the film’s original music composed by Łukasz Targosz (All My Friends Are DeadThe Coldest Game, Spy/Master, Broad PeakMy Name Is Sara, The Thaw). Fleak is directed by Jens Møller, co-directed by Luca Bruno & Mikko Pitkänen and tells the story of an 11 year old boy unable to walk after a tragic accident, when he meets and forms a friendship with a tiny, mischievous creature from another dimension that leads him to a surreal world where he can walk again, by letting go of his own shadow. Globe Productions has released a soundtrack EP for the BBC comedy Daddy Issues. The 6-track EP features selections of the show’s original music composed by James Righton (of the former new rave band Klaxons) (Untold: The Liver King, BenjaminI’ll Be Right There). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. Also listen to the composer’s main theme after the jump. Daddy Issues is created by Danielle Ward and stars Aimee Lou Wood, David Morrissey and David Fynn. The series revolves around a 24 year-old Gemma woman who iscovers she’s pregnant after a random hook-up and has no choice but to turn to her hapless father Malcolm for support. B Original has released a soundtrack album for the 2017 French limited series La Mante created by Alice Chegaray-Breugnot, Grégoire Demaison & Nicolas Jean, directed by Alexandre Laurent and starring Carole Bouquet, Fred Testot, Pascal Demolon, Frédérique Bel, Manon Azem, Élodie Navarre and Jacques Weber. The album features selections of the show’s original music composed by François Liétout (The Bonfire of Destiny, Women at War, Mademoiselle Holmes, Elise’s Secret). WaterTower Music has released a soundtrack album for the HBO original documentary series The Mortician. The album features the show’s original music composed by Daniel Pemberton (Spider-Man: Into & Across the Spider-Verse, Enola Holmes, Materialists, The Bad Guys, The Man from U.N.C.L.E.Steve JobsBirds of Prey) and Adem Ilhan (Avenue 5, The Ballad of Wallis Island, In the LoopThe Beautiful Game). The Mortician is directed by Joshua Rofé and tells the story of the family-run L.A. mortuary Lamb Funeral Home in Pasadena that hid behind a façade of decency and propriety to take advantage of loved ones at their most vulnerable moments in the early 1980s. Premiering tonight is the National Geographic original documentary series Underdogs narrated by Ryan Reynolds and executive produced by Mark Linfield, Vanessa Berlowitz and Dan Ree. The show’s original music is composed by Harry Gregson-Williams (Shrek, The Chronicles of NarniaThe Martian, Gladiator 2MulanChicken Run, The Gilded Age, Kingdom of Heaven, Spy Game, The Meg). Hollywood Records has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score this past Friday. Also premiering in the U.S. tonight is the British TV series Patience created by Matt Baker based on the French TV format Astrid et Raphaëlle and starring Laura Fraser and Ella Maisy Purvis. Hannes De Maeyer (Gangsta, The Couple Next Door, Rebel, NoiseProfessor T, Rafaël, TorpedoThe Racer) & Ruben De Gheselle (Young HeartsClara Sola, A Cops and Robbers Story) have composed the show’s original music. Silva Screen Records has released a soundtrack album featuring the composers’ score this past March. O-vnee Music has released a soundtrack album for the French/Cameroonian crime drama Untamable (Indomptables). The album features the film’s original score composed by Dany Synthé (All Inclusive) & Isko. Also included is the song On se comprend performed by Fally Ipupa & KLN. Untamable is co-written and directed by Thomas Ngijol and stars Ngijol himself, Danilo Melande, Bienvenu Roland Mvoe and Thérèse Ngono. The movie follows the police chief of the Cameroonian capital of Yaoundé as he is investigating the murder of a police officer while struggling to maintain order in the streets and at home, pushing him to breaking point. Danny Bensi & Saunder Jurriaans (Ozark, Speak No EvilThe Outsider, EnemyPresumed Innocent, The Gift, The White TigerThe Staircase, The Devil All the Time, Boy ErasedTokyo Vice) are the composers of the new Apple TV+ limited series Smoke. The show is created by Dennis Lehane (Black Bird, Shutter Island) and stars Taron Egerton, Jurnee Smollett, Ntare Guma Mbaho Mwine, Greg Kinnear, Rafe Spall, Anna Chlumsky, Hannah Emily Anderson, Adina Porter and John Leguizamo. The 9-part crime drama revolves around an arson investigator who begrudgingly teams up with a police detective as their race to stop two arsonists ignites a twisted game of secrets and suspicions. Opening in theaters nationwide this weekend is the live-action remake of DreamWorks Animation’s How to Train Your Dragon written and directed by Dean DeBlois and stars Mason Thames, Gerard Butler, Nico Parker, Julian Dennison, Nick Frost, Gabriel Howell, Ruth Codd, Harry Trevaldwyn and Bronwyn James. The film’s original music is composed by John Powell (The Bourne Identity, Solo: A Star Wars StoryHappy Feet, WickedDon’t Worry DarlingShrek, X-Men: The Last Stand, Bolt). Back Lot Music has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score today. Also opening nationwide is the romantic comedy drama Materialists written and directed by Celine Song and starring Dakota Johnson, Pedro Pascal, Chris Evans, Zoë Winters, Martin Ireland, Dasha Nekrasova, Louisa Jacobson and John Magaro. Daniel Pemberton (Spider-Man: Into/Across the Spider-Verse, The Man from U.N.C.L.E., The Bad Guys, Steve Jobs, King Arthur: Legend of the Sword, Enola HolmesBirds of Prey) has composed the film’s original score. A24 Music has released a soundtrack album featuring Pemberton’s music, as well as an original song by Japanese Breakfast and two songs performed by Baby Rose today. Walt Disney Records has released the second song from the soundtrack for the upcoming Disney Channel original movie Zombies 4: Dawn of the Vampires. The track, entitled Don’t Mess with Us, is written by Chantry Johnson, Michelle Zarlenga & Mitch Allan and performed by cast members Milo Manheim, Meg Donnelly, Freya Skye, Malachi Barton, Julian Lerner, Swayam Bhatia & Mekonnen Knife and is now available to stream/download on all major digital music services, including Amazon. Verve Forecast & Focus Features have announced the premiere vinyl release of the soundtrack album for the 2005 drama Brokeback Mountain directed by Ang Lee and starring Heath Ledger, Jake Gyllenhaal, Anne Hathaway and Michelle Williams. The album, which is being released to coincide with the movie’s 20th anniversary, features the film’s Academy Award-winning original score and songs (performed by Emmylou Harris, Teddy Thompson & Mary McBride) composed by Gustavo Santaolalla (The Last of Us, Babel, The Motorcycle DiariesThe Book of Life,  August: Osage County), as well as songs by Willie Nelson, Rufus Wainwright & others. The vinyl edition, which is housed in a deluxe gatefold jacket and includes a 16-page booklet featuring rare photos from the film’s production, will be released in number of unique color variants on September 19.
