Opening on VOD today is the historical drama Resistance written and directed by Jonathan Jakubowicz and stars Jesse Eisenberg, Ed Harris, Clémence Poésy, Matthias Schweighöfer, Félix Moati, Géza Rohrig, Karl Markovics, Vica Kerekes, Bella Ramsey and Edgar Ramírez. The film’s original music is composed by Angelo Milli (Seven Pounds, Hands of Stone, Bravetown). Filmtrax has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score today. Also opening on VOD today is the sci-fi thriller Vivarium directed by Lorcan Finnegan and starring Jesse Eisenberg, Imogen Poots, Jonathan Aris, Senan Jennings and Eanna Hardwicke. Kristian Eidnes Andersen (Antichrist, Ida, The Man Who Saved the World) has composed the film’s original music. No soundtrack album has been announced. The movie, which revolves around a couple’s search for a dream home that plunges them into a terrifying nightmare after they are trapped in a mysterious, labyrinth-like neighborhood of identical houses, is being released by Saban Films. Rupert Parkes (aka Photek) has recently scored the upcoming Netflix original film The Main Event. The movie is directed by Jay Karas (Break Point) and stars Seth Carr, Tichina Arnold, Adam Pally, Ken Marino, as well as WWE superstars Kofi Kingston, Mike “The Miz” Mizanin, Sheamus, and Babatunde Aiyegbusi. The family comedy centers on a young WWE fan possessing special powers from a magical mask who causes chaos when he enters a wrestling competition and fights an intimidating rival. Bill Conti’s ‘The Big Fix’ Score to Be Released

Varese Sarabande has announced the world premiere soundtrack release for the 1978 comedy thriller The Big Fix directed by Jeremy Kagan and starring Richard Dreyfuss, Susan Anspach, Bonnie Bedelia, John Lithgow and F. Murray Abraham. The album features the original music from the Universal Pictures release  composed and conducted by Academy Award winner Bill Conti (Rocky, The Right Stuff, The Karate Kid, For Your Eyes Only, The Thomas Crown Affair, Masters of the Universe), including unused and alternate cues. The CD, which is limited to 1,500 copies, is now available to order in the label’s online store, where you can also check out audio clips and learn more about the release. ‘U.S. Marshals’ – The Deluxe Edition Soundtrack Album Announced

Varese Sarabande has announced the latest titles in its CD club series, including a deluxe edition soundtrack for the 1998 action thriller U.S. Marshals directed by Stuart Baird and starring Tommy Lee Jones, Robert Downey Jr., Joe Pantoliano, Daniel Roebuck, Tom Wood, and LaTanya Richardson. The album features the expanded original score from the Warner Bros. Pictures production composed and conducted by Jerry Goldsmith (The Omen, Star Trek: The Motion Picture, Chinatown, Planet of the Apes, The Mummy, Basic Instinct), including over 45 minutes of previously unreleased music. The CD, which is limited to 3,000 copies, is now available to order on the label’s official website, where you can also check out audio samples and order the soundtrack. Maisie Music Publishing has released the first soundtrack album for the Netflix original series Paradise PD. The album features the original songs from the show performed by the comedy’s cast. Paradise PD is created by Waco O’Guin & Roger Black and features the voice talent of Dana Snyder, Cedric Yarbrough, David Herman, Tom Kenny, Sarah Chalke and Kyle Kinane. Lakeshore Records has released the cover version of Blue Skies from the CBS All Access original series Star Trek: Picard. The song, which was originally written by Irving Berlin, is performed by actress Isa Briones and produced and conducted by the show’s composer Jeff Russo (Star Trek: Discovery, Fargo, Legion). The track is now available to stream/download as a digital single on Amazon. Also listen to the full song after the jump. The label has previously released a soundtrack album featuring selections of Russo’s score from the first half of the show’s first season and will release a second album  featuring music from the second part soon.
