The full details of the soundtrack album for the action fantasy adventure Mortal Kombat II have been revealed. The album features the film’s original music composed by Benjamin Wallfisch (It, Twisters, Alien: Romulus, Hidden Figures, Blade Runner 2049, Shazam!, The Conjuring: Last Rites, The Invisible Man) who previously scored the original 2021 movie. Also included is a new version of the Olivier Adams-composed theme song Techno Syndrome from the 90s game (feat. Ed Boon), which is already available now as a digital single. The soundtrack will be released digitally this Friday, May 1 by WaterTower Music. The streaming/download link will be added to this page within the next day. Mortal Kombat II is directed by Simon McQuoid and stars Karl Urban, Adeline Rudolph, Josh Lawson, Jessica McNamee, Mehcad Brooks, Lewis Tan, Ludi Lin, Tati Gabrielle, Damon Herriman, Tadanobu Asano, Chin Han, Joe Taslim and Hiroyuki Sanada. The sequel will be released in theaters nationwide next Friday, May 8 by Warner Bros. Pictures.
