Marvel Music & Hollywood Records have released the seventh soundtrack album for the Disney+ original series WandaVision. The album features the original score from the seventh episode (Breaking the Fourth Wall) of the show composed by Christophe Beck (Ant-ManFrozenThe Hangover, Edge of TomorrowBuffy the Vampire Slayer). Also included is the instrumental theme W-V 2000 written by Kristen Anderson-Lopez & Robert Lopez and performed by The Math Club, as well as the songwriters’ theme song Agatha All Along performed by Kathryn Hahn, Eric Bradley, Greg Whipple, Jasper Randall & Gerald White. Intrada Records has announced a new soundtrack album for the 1965 survival drama The Flight of the Phoenix directed by Robert Aldrich and starring James Stewart, Richard Attenborough, Peter Finch, Ernest Borgnine, Hardy Krüger, Ian Bannen, Ronald Fraser, Dan Duryea, Christian Marquand and George Kennedy. The album features the original score from the 20th Century Fox release composed and conducted by Academy Award nominee Frank DeVol (Hush…Hush, Sweet CharlotteWhat Ever Happened to Baby Jane?, Pillow Talk, The Frisco Kid), including previously unreleased score cues, alternates and all of the source music.. THR is reporting that Michael Penn (Girls, Boogie Nights, Masters of Sex, Sunshine Cleaning, The Last Kiss) is set to compose and perform original music for a sequel to last year’s Disney+ original movie Stargirl. He will also serve as the executive music producer on the film, which will be directed by Julia Hart (I’m Your Woman, Fast Color) and star Grace VanderWaal and Elijah Richardson. VanderWaal is also contributing new songs to the YA drama, which follows Stargirl’s journey out of Mica and into a bigger world of music, dreams and possibility. Plaza Mayor Company will release a soundtrack album for the action thriller Insight. The album features the film’s original music composed by Sid De La Cruz (Hell on the Border, WEAPONiZEDCheckmateSWAT: Unit 887Atone). The soundtrack will be released digitally on March 12, 2021 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Insight is directed by Livi & Ken Zheng and starring Ken Zheng himself, Madeline Zima, Sean Patrick Flanery, John Savage, Adam Huss, Tony Todd and Keith David. The movie follows a counter-terrorism agent who blends his skills as a martial artist and clairvoyant to bring the world’s most nefarious individuals to justice as he is forced to make an unexpected detour to Los Angeles upon receipt of the news of a cover up surrounding his brother’s alleged suicide. The show is created by Valerie Armstrong and stars Annie Murphy, Eric Petersen, Mary Hollis Inboden, Raymond Lee, Brian Howe and Alex Bonifer. The comedy tells the story of a woman who keeps playing a perfect housewife until one day she realizes what she wants: to kill her husband. Craig DiGregorio (Kevin (Probably) Saves the World, Ash vs Evil Dead) serves as the project’s showrunner and is also executive producing the AMC Studios production with Armstrong and Rashida Jones & Will McCormack (Celeste and Jesse Forever). Air-Edel Records has announced a soundtrack album for the HBO Europe original series Tuff Money (Bani Negri). The album features selections of the original music from the show composed by Zero VU (The Drifters, The Cockfields). The soundtrack will be released digitally this coming Friday, February 26. and will be available to stream/download on Amazon and other digital music stores. Tuff Money is written and directed by Daniel Sandu and stars Alexandru Papadopol, Cristian Bota and Medeea Marinescu. The 6-part crime caper comedy revolves around two stoplight techs who joke about manipulating traffic to rob a bank’s armored van and end up having to go through with it. The show is created by Howard Overman (Misfits, Future Man) based on a book by John Marrs and stars Hannah Ware, Dimitri Leonidas, Amir El-Masry, Stephen Campbell, Wilf Scolding, Diarmaid Murtagh, Lois Chimimba, Eric Kofi-Abrefa, Pallavi Sharda, Zoë Tapper and Gregg Chillin. Farrow directed by Kirby Dick & Amy Ziering about the accusation of sexual abuse against Woody Allen involving his 7-year-old daughter with Mia Farrow. The show’s original music is composed by Michael Abels (Get OutUsBad Education, All Day and a Night, See You Yesterday). Quartet Records has announced the world premiere soundtrack release for the 1968 Italian crime drama Bandits in Rome (Roma come Chicago) directed by Alberto De Martino, produced by Dino de Laurentiis and starring John Cassavetes, Gabriele Ferzetti, Anita Sanders and Nikos Kourkoulos. The album features the original music from the Paramount Pictures release composed by Ennio Morricone (The Good, the Bad and the Ugly, Once Upon a Time in the West, Cinema Paradiso, The Mission, The Hateful Eight) & Bruno Nicolai (The Mercenary, Operation Kid Brother, Shanghai Joe, Django Shoots First).
