Walter Mair (Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III, Liaison, Formula 1: Drive to Survive, Till Death, Ronaldo, The Same Sky, Cuffs) is set to score the upcoming neo-noir action thriller Solar Storm. The film is directed by David Hackl (Saw V, Life on the Line) and will star Jack Hudson, Lorena Andrea, Massi Furlan, Valerie Huber and Werner Daehn. The movie takes place over a single catastrophic day and follows an ex-convict trying to escape his past and a woman fleeing a brutal marriage whose paths collide as they go on the run through 24 hours of darkness when a massive solar storm knocks out the city’s power and order. Joe Rabl wrote the screenplay. Mair is also producing the project with Hudson and Rabl. Solar Storm is scheduled to start principal photography this coming winter in Bulgaria. (Variety)
