Milan Records will release the official soundtrack album for Steve McQueen’s historical drama Blitz. The album features the film’s original score composed by Academy Award winner Hans Zimmer (The Lion King, Gladiator, Dune, The Dark Knight, Inception, 12 Years a Slave). Also included are the movie’s original songs written by Academy Award nominees Nicholas Britell (Moonlight, Succession, Andor, The Big Short) & Taura Stinson and McQueen, as well as Britell’s new arrangements of Oh Johnny, Oh Johnny, Oh performed by Celeste and Allelujah (Hallelujah) performed by Benjamin Clementine. The soundtrack will be released digitally this Friday, November 1 and will be available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. Blitz is written and directed by McQueen and stars Saoirse Ronan, Elliott Heffernan, Harris Dickinson, Clementine, Kathy Burke, Paul Weller, Stephen Graham, Alex Jennings, Leigh Gill, Mica Ricketts, CJ Beckford, Hayley Squires, Joshua McGuire, Erin Kellyman and Sally Messham.

‘Carmen’ Soundtrack Album Details
Sony Masterworks will release the official soundtrack album for the musical drama Carmen. The album features the film’s original score composed by Academy Award nominee and Emmy Award winner Nicholas Britell (Succession, Moonlight, Andor, If Beale Street Could Talk, Cruella, Don’t Look Up), as well as the movie’s original songs written by Britell, Taura Stinson, Julieta Venegas & Tracy “The D.O.C.” Curry. The soundtrack will be released digitally this Friday, April 21 and will be available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. Carmen is co-written and directed by Benjamin Millepied and stars Melissa Barrera, Paul Mescal, Rossy de Palma and The D.O.C.
Soundtracks for ‘The L Word: Generation Q’ Musical Episode Released
Showtime has released two soundtracks for the musical episode of the Showtime original series The L Word: Generation Q. Available to stream/download now on all major digital music services is a 6-track EP featuring the songs from the sixth episode episode of the show’s third season written by series composers Heather McIntosh (Compliance, The Art of Self-Defense, Z for Zachariah) & Allyson Newman (Making Waves: The Art of Cinematic Sound, Kusama: Infinity) and Academy Award-nominated songwriter Taura Stinson and performed by members of the show’s cast (also listen to all songs below). Available separately is an album featuring the original score from the episode composed by McIntosh & Newman.

Walt Disney Records has released the opening theme song from the upcoming Disney Channel animated series Marvel’s Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur. Available to stream/download now on all major digital music services is Moon Girl Magic written by the show’s executive music producer Raphael Saadiq (Lovecraft Country, Insecure, Underground, From Scratch), Halima Lucas & Taura Stinson and performed by Diamond White (who stars as Lunella aka Moon Girl). Hollywood Records has released the first two songs from the soundtrack for the new Hulu original series Reasonable Doubt. Republic Records has released the original song Just Look Up from Adam McKay’s Netflix original film Don’t Look Up. The track is performed by Ariana Grande & Kid Cudi and co-written by themselves, the movie’s composer Nicholas Britell and Taura Stinson. Mary J. Blige has recorded the original song Mighty River for the period drama Mudbound. The singer/songwriter who also stars in the movie co-wrote the track with Raphael Saadiq (Underground, Insecure) and Taura Stinson.
