WaterTower Music has released a soundtrack album for the musical episode In the Key of the Creek of the Cartoon Network animated series Craig of the Creek. The album features the original songs from the episode written by Jeff Rosenstock and performed by cast members including Philip Solomon, Noël Wells & H. Michael Croner, as well Ashleigh Harrington, Zehra Fazal, Lauren Lapkus, Karen Fukuhara, show creators Ben Levin & Matt Burnett and others. The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon, where you can also check out audio samples. In the Key of the Creek is written by Tara Helfer & Ashley Tahila and follows Craig as he uses his toys and imagination to create his own Creek adventure when he is locked inside on a rainy day.

Weekly TV Music Roundup (June 7, 2020)
Premiering this coming Friday, June 12, is the fantasy adventure Artemis Fowl directed by Kenneth Branagh and starring Ferdia Shaw, Lara McDonnell, Tamara Smart, Nonzo Anozie, Josh Gad and Judi Dench. The film’s original music is composed by Patrick Doyle (Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, Brave, Thor, Rise of the Planet of the Apes, Sense and Sensibility). A soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score will be announced soon. Also premiering on Friday is the Netflix original film Da 5 Bloods directed by Spike Lee and starring Delroy Lindo, Jonathan Majors, Paul Walter Hauser, Jean Reno, Chadwick Boseman, Danny Bilson, Kevin Willmott, Paul DeMeo, Matt Billingsly, Clarke Peters, Isiah Whitlock Jr., Mélanie Thierry Norm Lewis and Jasper Pääkkönen. Terence Blanchard (BlacKkKlansman, Malcolm X, 25th Hour, Inside Man) has composed the film’s original music. Milan Records has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score last week. Tom Howe Scoring Disney Channel’s ‘Upside-Down Magic’
Tom Howe (A Shaun the Sheep Movie: Farmageddon, Early Man, Professor Marston & the Wonder Women, Whiskey Cavalier) has composed the original score for the upcoming Disney Channel original movie Upside-Down Magic. The film is based on the Scholastic book series by Sarah Mlynowski, Lauren Myracle & Emily Jenkins and stars Izabela Rose, Siena Agudong, Vicki Lewis, Kyle Howard, Elie Samouhi, Alison Fernandez and Max Torina. The movie directed by Joe Nussbaum (Sydney White, Sleepover) centers around a 13-year-old girl who discovers that she can flux into animals, and her best friend, and who can manipulate flames, as they enter Sage Academy for magical studies.
‘Gangs of London’ Soundtrack Album Released
SATV has released a soundtrack album for the Sky original series Gangs of London. The album features selections of the show’s original music composed by Aria Prayogi & Fajar Yuskemal (The Raid: Redemption, The Ride, Apostle, The Night Comes for Us, Headshot). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon, where you can also check out audio samples. No word yet on a domestic release. Gangs of London is created by Gareth Evans & Matt Flannery and stars Sope Dirisu, Joe Cole,Lucian Msamati, Michelle Fairley, Mark Lewis Jones, Narges Rashidi, Jing Lusi, Pippa Bennett-Warner, Brian Vernal, Orli Shuka, Richard Harrington, Jude Akuwidike and Emmett J Scanlan. The crime drama revolves around the assassination of the head of a criminal organization that leads to a struggle threatening the fragile peace among the intricate web of international gangs operating on the streets of modern-day London.
Quibi’s ‘Don’t Look Deeper’ to Feature Music by Nora Kroll-Rosenbaum
Nora Kroll-Rosenbaum (Stockholm, Pennsylvania, Bird Karma, Regarding Susan Sontag) is the composer of the Quibi original series Don’t Look Deeper. The show is directed by Catherine Hardwicke (Twilight, Thirteen, Lords of Dogtown), written by Jeffrey Lieber (Lost, NCIS: New Orleans) & Charlie McDonnell and stars Helena Howard, Don Cheadle, Emily Mortimer, Ema Horvath, Jan Luis Castellanos, Kaiwi Lyman and Harvey Zielinski. The sci-fi drama is set in near-future California and follows a high school senior as she learns a dark secret about herself and goes from dreams of graduation and college to suddenly running for her life. Jeff Toyne Scoring Fox’s ‘Filthy Rich’
Jeff Toyne (Rogue, Dirty Girl, 9/11, You Me Her) is composing the original score for the upcoming Fox drama Filthy Rich. The show is created by Tate Taylor (The Help, The Girl on the Train, Get On Up) and stars Kim Cattrall, Gerald McRaney, Melia Kreiling, David Denman, Aubrey Dollar, Corey Cott, Benjamin Levy Aguilar, Mark L. Young, Olivia Macklin and Steve Harris. The series revolves around the patriarch of a rich Southern family, famed for creating a wildly successful Christian television network, who dies in a plane crash, when his wife and family are stunned to learn that he fathered three illegitimate children, all of whom are written into his will, threatening their family name and fortune.
Rael Jones Scoring BBC’s ‘The Salisbury Poisonings’
Rael Jones (My Cousin Rachel, Harlots, Kids in Love) has recently scored the upcoming BBC series The Salisbury Poisonings. The show is written by Adam Patterson & Declan Lawn and stars Anne-Marie Duff, Rafe Spall, MyAnna Buring, Johnny Harris, Annabel Scholey, Mark Addy, Stella Gonet and Ron Cook. The 3-part drama centers the 2018 Novichok poisonings in Salisbury and tells the story of how ordinary people reacted to a crisis on their doorstep, displaying extraordinary heroism. Saul Dibb (The Duchess, Journey’s End) has directed all episodes.

Premiering in the U.S. tonight is the British mini-series Quiz directed by Stephen Frears, written by James Graham and stars Matthew Macfadyen, Michael Sheen, Sian Clifford, Mark Bonnar, Helen McCrory, Michael Jibson and Aisling Bea. The show’s original music is composed by Murray Gold (Doctor Who, Gentleman Jack, Torchwood, Years and Years). Premiering on Friday, June 5, is the Apple TV+ docu-series Dear… executive produced by R.J. Cutler, Todd Lubin, Jay Peterson, Jane Cha and Lyle Gamm. Craig Richey (Friends with Money, Lovely & Amazing, The September Issue, Girl on a Bicycle) is composing the show’s original music. The series, which takes an inventive approach to biographies of the most iconic figures in society today by using letters written by those whose lives have been changed through their work and profiles internationally recognized leaders including Oprah Winfrey, Gloria Steinem, Spike Lee, Lin-Manuel Miranda, Stevie Wonder & others will be available to stream exclusively on Apple TV+.
Soundtrack Album for Quibi’s ‘Royalties’ Announced
Republic Records has announced a soundtrack album for the Quibi original series Royalties. The album features the original songs from the show co-written by the show’s star and writer/producer Darren Criss. The first three songs, Just That Good (feat. Rufus Wainwright), Kick Your Shoes Off (feat. Bonnie McKee) and Break It In (feat. Lil Rel Howery & KingJet), from the first episodes premiering tomorrow are already available to stream/download now. The full soundtrack will be released following the finale on July 3, 2020 and will be available to stream/download on Amazon. Royalties is created by Criss who also stars in the show, alongside Kether Donohue. The musical comedy follows a ragtag songwriting duo as they navigate the strange and hilarious challenges of creating great songs for insane artists. Other stars appearing include Mark Hamill, Julianne Hough, Jennifer Coolidge, Sabrina Carpenter, Jordan Fisher and Jackie Tohn.
‘Vida’ Season 3 Soundtrack EP Released
Lionsgate Records has released a new soundtrack EP for the Starz original series Vida. The 4-track EP features songs from the show’s third and final season performed by Angelica Garcia and Las Vergas. The soundtrack is now available to stream and download on Amazon, where you can also check out audio samples. Lakeshore Records has previously released a full soundtrack album featuring songs from the drama’s first seasons. Vida is created by Tanya Saracho and stars Melissa Barrera, Mishel Prada, Ser Anzoategui, Chelsea Rendon, Carlos Miranda, Roberta Colindrez and Maria Elena Laas.
