Nathan Matthew David (The Last Word, Slice, Deadly Class, Angie Tribeca, Surviving R. Kelly, Satisfaction) is composing the original score for the new NBC comedy Young Rock. The show is created by Dwayne Johnson & Nahnatchka Khan (Fresh Off the Boat, Always Be My Maybe) and stars Johnson himself, Joseph Lee Anderson, Stacey Leilua, Adrian Groulx, Uli Latukefu, Bradley Constant, Ana Tuisila, Fasitua Amosa and John Tui. The series focuses on different chapters of Johnson’s life, from growing up in a strong and resilient family, to being surrounded by the wild characters of his professional wrestling family and to playing football at the University of Miami.

Dubois Records has released a soundtrack album for the ITV limited series The Sister. The album feature selections of the original music from the show composed by Ruth Barrett (Bodyguard, Collateral, Sanditon, Harry Brown, Victoria). The album features selections of the show’s original music composed by Golden Globe nominee Reinhold Heil (Run Lola Run, Cloud Atlas, The International, One Hour Photo, Helix, Perfume: The Story of a Murderer) who previously scored Deutschland 83 and Deutschland 86. Lakeshore Records will release a soundtrack album for the Showtime original series Your Honor. Details for ‘WandaVision’ Episode 5 Soundtrack Album Revealed
The details of the fifth soundtrack album for Marvel Studios’ Disney+ series WandaVision have been revealed. The albums feature the original score from the fifth episode of the show composed by Christophe Beck (Ant-Man, Frozen, Edge of Tomorrow, The Hangover, The Muppets, The Peanuts Movie, Buffy the Vampire Slayer). Also included is the 80s-style theme song Making It Up As We Go Along written and performed by Kristen Anderson-Lopez & Robert Lopez. The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, February 12 by Marvel Music & Hollywood Records and will be available to stream/download here. Jeff Russo Scoring CBS’ ‘Clarice’
Jeff Russo (Fargo, Star Trek: Discovery & Picard, Legion, The Night Of, The Umbrella Academy) is scoring the new CBS drama Clarice. The show is developed by Alex Kurtzman (Star Trek, Now You See Me) & Jenny Lumet (Rachel Getting Married) and stars Rebecca Breeds in the title role, alongside Michael Cudlitz, Lucca De Oliveira, Kal Penn, Nick Sandow, Devyn Tyler and Marnee Carpenter. The series tells the untold personal story of FBI Agent Clarice Starling as she returns to the field in 1993, one year after the events of The Silence of the Lambs.

Rene Aubry to Score BBC’s ‘Superworm’
BBC has announced that Rene Aubry is set to score the upcoming animated special Superworm. The Magic Light Pictures production is directed by Sarah Scrimgeour & Jac Hamman and stars Olivia Colman as the narrator, Matt Smith as the title character, as well as Patricia Allison as Butterfly, and Rob Brydon as the Crow. The special based on Julia Donaldson & Axel Scheffler’s story of the same title follows the titular hero who has always on hand to help out all the other animals and insects – whether he’s saving baby toad from an accident, rescuing beetle from falling down a well, or offering himself up as a skipping rope for some bored bees. Max Lang and Suzanne Lang wrote the script.
