Lakeshore Records has released a soundtrack album for the German mini-series Deutschland 89. The album features selections of the show’s original music composed by Golden Globe nominee Reinhold Heil (Run Lola RunCloud Atlas, The International, One Hour Photo, Helix, Perfume: The Story of a Murderer) who previously scored Deutschland 83 and Deutschland 86. The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. Deutschland 89 is created by Anna Winger & Jörg Winger and stars Jonas Nay, Ari Kurecki, Svenja Jung, Maria Schrader, Sylvester Groth, Uwe Preuss, Carina Wiese, Alexander Beyer and Lavinia Wilson. The drama follows Martin Rauch as he goes undercover to infiltrate an anti-imperialist terror cell and becomes entangled in his Aunt Lenora’s schemes. The series premiered in Germany last September on Amazon Prime and made its U.S. debut the following month on SundanceTV.
