BMG has released a soundtrack album for the German TV series Deutschland 86. The album features selections of the original score from the show composed by Golden Globe nominee Reinhold Heil (Cloud Atlas, Run Lola Run, The International, One Hour Photo, Berlin Station). The soundtrack is now available to download on Amazon, where you can also check out audio samples. Deutschland 86 is created by Anna Winger & Jörg Winger and stars Jonas Nay, Maria Schrader, Sylvester Groth, Sonja Gerhardt, Ludwig Trepte and Alexander Beyer. The drama is the sequel to 2015’s Deutschland 83 (which Heil also scored) and follows Martin Rauch – Long banished to AFRICA for his sins in 1983 – as he is called back into the field. The series premiered last week in Germany on Amazon Prime and in the U.S. yesterday on SundanceTV.
