Jeff Russo (Fargo, The Night Of, Legion, Lucy in the Sky, The Act) is the composer of the upcoming Showtime original series The Man Who Fell to Earth. The show is developed by Alex Kurtzman (Now You See Me, Eagle Eye) & Jenny Lumet (Rachel Getting Maried) and stars Chiwetel Ejiofor, Naomie Harris, Jimmy Simpson, Sonya Cassidy, Rob Delaney, Joana Ribeiro, Annelle Olaleye, Clarke Peters, Kate Mulgrew and Bill Nighy. The sci-fi drama is based on the Walter Tevis novel and the 1976 film of the same title starring David Bowie and follows a new alien character who arrives on Earth at a turning point in human evolution and must confront his own past to determine our future.

Premiering tonight is the Showtime original docuseries We Need to Talk About Cosby directed by W. Kamau Bell about Bill Cosby’s descent from “America’s Dad” to alleged sexual predator. . The film’s original music is composed by Vernon Reid (of Living Colour) (Paid in Full, Free Angela and all Political Prisoners). The 4-parter, which features interviews with comedians, journalists and Cosby survivors about the man, his career and his crimes, premiered last week at the 2022 Sundance Festival and will debut exclusively on Showtime.
Premiering on Wednesday, February 2, is the Hulu limited series Pam & Tommy developed by Robert Siegel & DV DeVincentis and starring Lily James, Sebastian Stan, Seth Rogen, Nick Offerman, Taylor Schilling, Andrew Dice Clay, Spencer Granese, Pepi Sonuga and Mozhan Marnò. Matthew Margeson (Rocketman, Kingsman: The Secret Service, Eddie the Eagle, Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children) has composed the show’s original music. Brendan Angelides Scoring Showtime’s ‘Super Pumped: The Battle for Uber’
Brendan Angelides (aka ESKMO) (Billions, 13 Reasons Why, Naked Singularity) has been tapped to score the upcoming Showtime anthology series Super Pumped. The first installment, entitled The Battle for Uber, is based on Mike Isaac’s bestselling book of the same title and stars Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Kyle Chandler, Uma Thurman, Elisabeth Shue, Kerry Bishé, Jon Bass, Bridget Gao Hollitt and Babak Tafti. Brian Koppelman (Rounders, The Girlfriend Experience), David Levien (The Illusionist, Runaway Jury) & Beth Schacter serve as the writers and showrunners of the drama, which depicts the roller-coaster ride of the upstart transportation company, embodying the highs and lows of Silicon Valley.

Lakeshore Records has released the main title theme song No Return from the Showtime original series Yellowjackets. The track is written by the show’s composers Craig Wedren (Role Models, The School of Rock, We Hot American Summer) & Anna Waronker (Shrill, Call Me Kat, Santa Inc.) and is now available to stream/download on all major digital music platforms, including Amazon. ‘JFK Revisited: Through the Looking Glass’ Soundtrack Album Released
Lakeshore Records has released a soundtrack album for the documentary JFK Revisited: Through the Looking Glass. The album features the film’s original music composed by Emmy Award winner Jeff Beal (House of Cards, Monk, Carnivale, Rome, Appaloosa, Pollock, The Biggest Little Farm, Blackfish). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on all major digital music platforms, including Amazon. JFK Revisited: Through the Looking Glass is directed by Oliver Stone and presents a fresh look at the vast archive of material that has been declassified, re-examined and placed in the public records since the director’s 1991 narrative feature JFK (scored by John Williams). The Ingenious Media production is narrated by Whoopi Goldberg and Donald Sutherland features a renowned team of historians and witnesses.

Craig Wedren (Role Models, We Hot American Summer, The School of Rock, GLOW) & Anna Waronker (Shrill, Call Me Kat, The Republic of Sarah) are scoring the later episodes of the show created by Ashley Lyle & Bart Nickerson and starring Melanie Lynskey, Juliette Lewis, Christina Ricci, Tawny Cypress, Warren Kole, Ella Purnell, Samantha Hanratty, Sophie Thatcher, Sophie Nélisse, Steven Krueger and Jasmin Savoy Brown. The drama follows a team of wildly talented high school girls soccer players who become the survivors of a plane crash deep in the remote northern wilderness.

Pat Irwin Scoring Showtime’s ‘Dexter: New Blood’
Pat Irwin (The Good Cop, But I’m a Cheerleader, Bored to Death) has composed the original music for the new Showtime limited series Dexter: New Blood. The show is developed by Clyde Phillips based on the network’s original Dexter series, which ran between 2006 and 2013 and the novels created by Jeff Lindsay and stars Michael C. Hall in the title role, Jennifer Carpenter who reprises her role as Dexter’s sister Deb, Jack Alcott, Julia Jones. Alano Miller, Johnny Sequoyah and Clancy Brown The crime drama is set 10 years after Dexter went missing in the eye of Hurricane Laura and finds him living under an assumed name in the fictional small town of Iron Lake, New York.
‘The One and Only Dick Gregory’ Soundtrack Album Released
Hillman Grad Records and Def Jam Recordings have released a soundtrack album for the documentary The One and Only Dick Gregory. The album is produced by record producer and composer Kyle Townsend (who also scored the film) and features songs by artists such as Lupe Fiasco, Big K.R.I.T., Bobby Sessions, Cory Henry, Statik Selektah, Danni Baylor, BJ The Chicago Kid & others. The soundtrack is now available to stream/download here, where you can also check out audio samples. The One and Only Dick Gregory is directed by Andre Gaines and examines activist and pop-culture icon Dick Gregory, whose work as a self-described ‘agitator’ shaped a generation demanding justice. The movie features Gregory’s personal reflections, archival footage and interviews with the artists he influenced.
