Opening in theaters nationwide this weekend is the action adventure Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny directed by James Mangold and starring Harrison Ford, Phoebe Waller-Bridge, Antonio Banderas, John Rhys-Davies, Toby Jones and Mads Mikkelsen. The film’s original music is composed by John Williams (Star Wars, E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial, Schindler’s List, Jaws, Jurassic Park). Nora Kroll-Rosenbaum Scoring Catherine Hardwicke’s ‘Prisoner’s Daughter’
Composer Nora Kroll-Rosenbaum (Stockholm, Pennsylvania, Bird Karma, Regarding Susan Sontag, Grand-Daddy Day Care) is reuniting with director Catherine Hardwicke (Twilight, Thirteen, Lords of Dogtown) on the upcoming family drama Prisoner’s Daughter. The film starring Kate Beckinsale, Brian Cox, Tyson Ritter & Christopher Convery follows a former boxer seeking one last chance to redeem himself in the eyes of his beloved daughter and grandson. Mark Bacci (Northern Rescue) wrote the screenplay.

Premiering on Tuesday, August 3, is the documentary Pray Away directed by Kristine Stolakis and executive produced by Ryan Murphy. The movie, which follows a group of ex-leaders and a survivor of the so-called “conversion therapy” movement as they speak out about its harm to the LGBTQ+ community and its devastating persistence, premiered at this year’s Tribeca Film Festival and will be available to stream exclusively on Netflix.
Premiering in the U.S. on Thursday, August 5 is the French horror comedy Teddy written and directed by Ludovic & Zoran Boukherma and starring Anthony Bajon, Noémie Lvovsky and Christine Gautier. Amaury Chabauty (Vendeur) has composed the film’s original music. 22D Music has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score in June when the movie opened in French theaters. ‘Bird Karma’ Soundtrack Released
Back Lot Music has released a soundtrack EP for the DreamWorks Animation short Bird Karma. The EP features the film’s original music composed by Nora Kroll-Rosenbaum (Stockholm, Pennsylvania, Regarding Susan Sontag, Grand-Daddy Day Care). The soundtrack is now available to download on Amazon, where you can also check out audio samples. Bird Karma is directed by William Salazar and tells the story of a long-legged bird’s journey of blissful joy, inescapable greed and the accidental discovery of the consequences when too much is not enough.
