Netflix Music has released a soundtrack album for the French Netflix limited series Fiasco. The album features selections of the show’s original music composed by Julien Grunberg & Paul-Marie Barbier (Restless, Medellin, Ibiza, La Fièvre, Fantasies). Fiasco is created by Igor Gotesman and stars Pierre Niney, François Civil, Géraldine Nakache, Leslie Medina, Pascal Demolon, Louise Coldefy and Djimo. The comedy follows a behind-the-scenes film crew who captures everything as mishaps, blackmail and sabotage ensue when disaster strikes on the the set of a first-time director.

Alan Silvestri Scoring Anthony & Joe Russo’s ‘The Electric State’
Alan Silvestri (Back to the Future, Forrest Gump, Predator, Captain America: The First Avenger, Ready Player One, Cast Away, The Mummy Returns) has been tapped score the upcoming Netflix original film The Electric State. The movie is directed by Anthony & Joe Russo (Captain America: The Winter Soldier & Civil War, The Gray Man) and stars Millie Bobby Brown, Chris Pratt, Ke Huy Quan, Jason Alexander, Stanley Tucci, Brian Cox and Jenny Slate. The sci-fi adventure set in an alternate future tells the story of a teenage girl who realizes that a strange but sweet robot who comes to her has actually been sent by her missing brother and sets out to find the brother in an imaginative world of humans mixing with robots all shapes and sizes.
Leo Birenberg Scoring Netflix’s ‘Jurassic World: Chaos Theory’
Leo Birenberg (Cobra Kai, Weird: The Al Yankovic Story, Bottoms, Florida Man, Son of Zorn, Tigtone, Butcher’s Crossing) is returning to score the upcoming Netflix animated series Jurassic World: Chaos Theory. The sequel to the Birenberg-scored Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous features the voices of Paul-Mikél Williams, Sean Giambrone, Darren Barnet, Raini Rodriguez and Kausar Mohammed. The show follows the Camp Cretaceous gang as they come together to unravel a mystery when they discover a global conspiracy that brings danger to dinosaurs – and to themselves.
‘Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar’ Soundtrack Album Released
Bhansali Music has released a soundtrack album for the Indian Netflix original series Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar. The album features nine songs from the show written by Sanjay Leela Bhansali (Gangubai Kathiawadi, Bajirao Mastani, Padmaavat). Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar is created by Bhansali and stars Manisha Koirala, Sonakshi Sinha, Aditi Rao Hydari, Sharmin Segal, Richa Chadha and Sanjeeda Sheikh. The period drama is set in pre-independent India against the backdrop of the freedom movement and follows two nemeses who are locked in a battle for succession of the titular district, where courtesans reign as queens.

Premiering on Tuesday, April 30, is the FX limited series The Veil created by Steven Knight and starring Elisabeth Moss, Yumna Marwan, Josh Charles and Dali Benssalah. The show’s original music is composed by Max Richter (The Leftovers, Ad Astra, Mary Queen of Scots, Hostiles, Waltz with Bashir, Spaceman) and Jon Opstad (Bodies, Black Mirror: White Bear & White Christmas, The Woman in White, We Hunt Together) . Hollywood Records will release a soundtrack album featuring the composers’ music on May 3. Hollywood Records has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score this past Friday. ‘Unfrosted’ Soundtrack Album Details
Netflix Music will release the official soundtrack album for the streamer’s original film Unfrosted. The album features the movie’s original score composed by Emmy Award winner Christophe Beck (Frozen, Ant-Man, WandaVision, Edge of Tomorrow, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, The Hangover, Free Guy, The Peanuts Movie). Also included is the original song Sweet Morning Heat by Meghan Trainor & Jimmy Fallon (already out now as a digital single). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, April 26. Unfrosted is co-written directed by Jerry Seinfeld and stars Seinfeld himself, Melissa McCarthy, Jim Gaffigan, Amy Schumer, Max Greenfield, Hugh Grant, Christian Slater, James Marsden, Thomas Lennon, Jack McBrayer and Bobby Moynihan. The comedy is set in 1960s Michigan and tells the story of sworn cereal rivals Kellogg’s and Post as they race to create a pastry that will change the face of breakfast forever.
Brittany Howard’s Original Song ‘Fire Inside’ from Netflix’s ‘Thelma the Unicorn’ Released
Island Records has released the first song from the Netflix original animated film Thelma the Unicorn. Available to stream/download now on all major digital music services is Fire Inside written by Theo Katzman & Louis Cato, produced by Mike Elizondo and performed by Brittany Howard who also stars in the title role. Thelma the Unicorn is directed by Jared Hess & Lynn Wang and also features the voices of Will Forte and Jemaine Clement.
‘Brigands: The Quest for Gold’ (‘Briganti’) Soundtrack Album Released
Netflix Music has released a soundtrack album for the Italian Netflix original series Brigands: The Quest for Gold (Briganti). The album features selections of the show’s original music composed by Michele Braga (Dogman, Rose Island, Freaks Out, Strangeness, Shadows, Blessed Madness). Brigands: The Quest for Gold is created by GRAMS and stars Michela De Rossi, Ivana Lotito, Matilda Lutz, Marlon Joubert, Pietro Micci, Orlando Cinque and Leon Faun. The period drama is set in the 19th century, when the southern lands of Italy are bandit territory, and follows a woman who escapes her wealthy but sad life to lead a risky treasure hunt.

Premiering tonight is the HBO original documentary series The Jinx – Part Two directed by Andrew Jarecki. The show’s original music is composed by Mondo Boys (She Dies Tomorrow, Phoenix Forgotten, Fatman, The Girlfriend Experience, Red Right Hand, Silk Road). The follow-up to 2015’s The Jinx: The Life and Deaths of Robert Durst continue the filmmaker’s investigation for the next eight years, uncovering hidden material, Durst’s prison calls, and interviews with witnesses who had not come forward earlier. The 6-parter will air Sundays on HBO and will also be available to stream on Max.
Premiering tomorrow, April 22, is the Disneynature documentary Tiger directed by Mark Linfield, co-directed by Vanessa Berlowitz & Rob Sullivan and narrated by Priyanka Chopra. Nitin Sawhney (Mowgli: Legend of the Jungle, The Namesake, Breathe, What’s Love Got to Do With It?, Traitors, A Girl from Mogadishu) has composed the film’s original music. Walt Disney Records will release a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score.
