Dan the Automator (Booksmart, Control) has composed the original score for the new Netflix original film Holidate. The movie is directed by John Whitesell (Big Momma’s House 2, Malibu’s Most Wanted) and stars Emma Roberts, Luke Bracey, Jessica Capshaw, Andrew Bachelor, Jake Manley, Frances Fisher, Manish Dayal and Kristin Chenoweth. The romantic comedy centers on two strangers fed up with being single on holidays who agree to be each other’s platonic plus-ones all year long, only to catch real feelings along the way.

Chris ‘Ludacris’ Bridges & James Bennett Jr. to Create Original Music for Netflix’s ‘Karma’s World’
Netflix announced today that Chris ‘Ludacris’ Bridges & James Bennett Jr. will create the original music for the upcoming animated series Karma’s World. The show is created by Bridges and inspired by his oldest daughter Karma and tells the story of a young Black girl finding her voice and using it to change her world. The series will feature original songs about issues such as self-esteem, body positivity, discrimination, creativity and more. Bridges is also executive producing the project with Vince Commisso, Darragh O’Connell, Angela C. Santomero, Cathal Gaffney, Wendy Harris and Jennie Stacey from 9 Story Media Group (Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood).
‘Kipo and the Age of Wonderbeasts’ Season 3 Soundtrack Album Details
Back Lot Music will release a new soundtrack album for DreamWorks Animation’s Netflix series Kipo and the Age of Wonderbeasts. The album features selections of the original score from the show’s third and final season composed by Daniel Rojas (M.O.D.O.K., Starcrossed). Also included are five songs performed by VenessaMichaels ft. Keeley Bumford, Raymond J. Lee, Jake Green and Andra Gunter. The Season 3 Mixtape will be released digitally this Friday, October 16 and will be available to stream/download on Amazon and all other major digital music services. The label has previously released two soundtracks featuring music from the series’ first and second season.

Premiering tomorrow, October 12, is the second episode of the AMC anthology series Soulmates created by Will Bridges & Brett Goldstein. Episode 2, entitled The Lovers, is directed by Rob Savage and stars David Costabile, Sonya Cassidy, Karima McAdams and Henry Goodman. Michael Price (Sherlock, Dracula, Wild Target, A Fantastic Fear of Everything, Unforgotten, Another Me) has composed the episode’s original music. Soundtrack Album for Ben Wheatley’s Netflix Film ‘Rebecca’ to Be Released
The details of the soundtrack album for the Netflix original film Rebecca have been revealed. The album features the movie’s original music composed by Clint Mansell (Requiem for a Dream, Black Swan, The Fountain, Noah, Moon, High-Rise, Loving Vincent). The soundtrack will be released digitally on October 23 by Lakeshore Records and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Rebecca is directed by Ben Wheatley and stars Armie Hammer, Lily James and Kristin Scott Thomas. The romantic thriller is based on Daphne Du Maurier’s gothic novel and follows a young newlywed who moves to her husband’s imposing estate, where she must contend with his sinister housekeeper and the haunting shadow of his late wife.
Celeste’s Original Song ‘Hear My Voice’ from ‘The Trial of the Chicago 7’ Released
Polydor Records has released the original song Hear My Voice from Aaron Sorkin’s The Trial of the Chicago 7. The track is written by the film’s composer Daniel Pemberton and performed by Celeste who also co-wrote the lyrics with Pemberton. The song is now available as a digital single on Amazon and other digital music services and will also be included on the movie’s official soundtrack album, which is set to be released on October 16. Equity Distribution & Zorg Limited have released a score album for the Netflix animated feature Fearless. The album features the film’s original score composed by Anne-Kathrin Dern (The Jade Pendant, The Legend of the War Horse, Sprite Sisters, Help, I Shrunk My Parents). Klaus Badelt (Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl, Rescue Dawn, The Time Machine) serves as the project’s score producer. The soundtrack is now available to stream/download here, where you can also listen to audio samples. Zorg Limited has previously released a soundtrack album featuring the songs from the movie, as well as couple of tracks from Dern’s score. Fearless is directed by Cory Edwards and features the voices of Yara Shahidi, Miles Robbins, Miguel J. Pimentel and Gabrielle Union.
