Movistar Sound has released a soundtrack album for the Spanish TV series Celeste. The album features selections of the show’s original music composed by Lucas Vidal (Fast & Furious 6, The Quiet Ones, The Deliverance, Welcome to Eden, The Raven, Palm Trees in the Snow, Women in Blue, The Cold Light of Day). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download here, where you can also check out the track list. Also listen to the composer’s first track (En Escena) below. Celeste is created by Diego San José and stars Carmen Machi, Andrea Bayardo, Manolo Solo, Aixa Villagrán, Antonio Durán “Morris” and Clara Sans. The 6-part thriller follows a tax investigator on the cusp of early retirement who is lured into staying on the job for one last case: running down a Latin pop star who is rumored to be taking advantage of her status to evade paying dues.

Celeste’s Opening Titles Song ‘This Is Who I Am’ from ‘The Day of the Jackal’ Released
Polydor Records has released the original opening titles song This Is Who I Am from the Peacock/Sky original series The Day of the Jackal. The track written and performed by Celeste (and produced by Beach Noise) is now available to stream/download on all major digital music services, including Amazon. The Day of the Jackal is is developed by Ronan Bennett based on the novel of the same title by Frederick Forsyth and stars Eddie Redmayne, Lashana Lynch, Richard Dormer, Úrsula Corberó, Lia Williams, Charles Dance, Chukwudi Iwuji, Khalid Abdalla, Nick Blood, Sule Rimi, Eleanor Matsuura, Jonjo O’Neill and Florisa Kamara.
BBC’s ‘This Town’ to Feature Cover Songs by Celeste, Gregory Porter, Ray Laurél, Olivia Dean, Sekou & Self Esteem
Six contemporary artists have contributed cover versions for the new BBC drama This Town. Celeste has recorded a new version of the Richard Rodgers- & Lorenz Hart-penned Blue Moon, Gregory Porter has covered Charles Bradley’s The World (Is Going Up In Flames), Olivia Dean has contributed a yet-to-be revealed cover, Ray Laurél has recorded a cover of Somewhere Over the Rainbow (from The Wizard of Oz), Sekou has contributed a cover of Jimmy Cliff’s Wonderful World, Beautiful People and Self Esteem has covered Cliff’s You Can Get It If You Really Want. The songs will be featured during the end credits of each episode of the series created by Steven Knight and starring Michelle Dockery, Nicholas Pinnock, David Dawson, Levi Brown, Ben Rose, Jordan Bolger and Eve Austin.
Celeste’s Original Song ‘Hear My Voice’ from ‘The Trial of the Chicago 7’ Released
Polydor Records has released the original song Hear My Voice from Aaron Sorkin’s The Trial of the Chicago 7. The track is written by the film’s composer Daniel Pemberton and performed by Celeste who also co-wrote the lyrics with Pemberton. The song is now available as a digital single on Amazon and other digital music services and will also be included on the movie’s official soundtrack album, which is set to be released on October 16.
