Globe has released a new soundtrack album for the BBC drama This Town. The album features selections of the show’s original score composed by Kormac (The Diplomat, Professionals, Red Election, Tarrac). Polydor Records has previously released a separate soundtrack featuring the songs from the series last month. Soundtrack Album for BBC’s ‘This Town’ to Be Released
Polydor Records will release a soundtrack album for the BBC drama This Town. The album features the songs from the show, including new covers created for the end credits of each episode by artists such as Celeste, Ray Laurél, Gregory Porter, Sekou and Olivia Dean. Also included are five songs performed by F**k The Factory – the band at the heart of series – created by Dan Carey, in collaboration with ESKA and Kae Tempest. The soundtrack will be released digitally and physically on April 26 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. A first track (Self Esteem’s cover of Jimmy Cliff’s You Can Get It If You Really Want) is already available to stream/download now and can also be checked out below. BBC’s ‘This Town’ to Feature Cover Songs by Celeste, Gregory Porter, Ray Laurél, Olivia Dean, Sekou & Self Esteem
Six contemporary artists have contributed cover versions for the new BBC drama This Town. Celeste has recorded a new version of the Richard Rodgers- & Lorenz Hart-penned Blue Moon, Gregory Porter has covered Charles Bradley’s The World (Is Going Up In Flames), Olivia Dean has contributed a yet-to-be revealed cover, Ray Laurél has recorded a cover of Somewhere Over the Rainbow (from The Wizard of Oz), Sekou has contributed a cover of Jimmy Cliff’s Wonderful World, Beautiful People and Self Esteem has covered Cliff’s You Can Get It If You Really Want. The songs will be featured during the end credits of each episode of the series created by Steven Knight and starring Michelle Dockery, Nicholas Pinnock, David Dawson, Levi Brown, Ben Rose, Jordan Bolger and Eve Austin.

Kormac (The Diplomat, Professionals, Tarrac, Red Election) has composed the original score for the new BBC drama This Town. The show is created by Steven Knight (Peaky Blinders, Eastern Promises) and stars Michelle Dockery, Nicholas Pinnock, Levi Brown, David Dawson, Ben Rose, Jordan Bolger and Eve Austin. The 6-part series directed by Paul Whittington tells the story of an extended family and a group of young people who are drawn into an explosive music scene in the Midlands in the early 1980s.
