Hollywood Records has released a new soundtrack album for hit NBC drama This Is Us. The album features selections of the original score from the show’s third season composed by Siddhartha Khosla (Runaways, Looking for Alaska, The Royals) who has received his first Emmy Award nomination for his music from last season. The soundtrack is now available to stream and download on Amazon Music, where you can also check out audio samples. Universal Music has previously released a score album featuring the composer’s music from the first seasons last year. Season 4 of This Is Us created by Dan Fogelman and starring Mandy Moore, Milo Ventimiglia, Sterling K. Brown, Chrissy Metz, Justin Hartley, Susan Kelechi Watson and Chris Sullivan currently airs every Tuesday night on NBC.

First Songs from NBC’s ‘Perfect Harmony’ Released
20th Century Fox TV Records has released the first songs from the new NBC comedy Perfect Harmony. Available now to stream and download is the Hallelujah/Eye of the Tiger mashup (performed by Anna Camp, Rizwan Manji, Geno Segers, Will Greenburg & Tymberlee Hill) as featured in tonight’s pilot episode, as well as Amazing Grace (performed by the show’s cast feat. Missi Hale). Adam Anders (Glee, Rock of Ages) serves as the project’s executive music producer and musical director and produces all on camera performances. Jason Derlatka (House, Parenthood) is composing the show’s original score.
Original Song ‘Memorized’ from NBC’s ‘This Is Us’ Released
Hollywood Records has released the original song Memorized from the Season 4 premiere of the NBC drama This Is Us. The track is co-written by the show’s composer Siddhartha Khosla and Dawes’ Taylor Goldsmith and performed by Blake Stadnik. The song, which is featured in the ending sequence of the episode Strangers, is now available to stream and download as a digital single on Amazon Music. Listen to the full track after the jump. NBC’s ‘Sunnyside’ to Feature Original Score by Siddhartha Khosla
Siddhartha Khosla is composing the original score for the new NBC comedy Sunnyside. The show is created by Matt Murray & Kal Penn who also stars in the series, alongside Kiran Deol, Moses Storm, Diana Maria Riva, Samba Schutte, Poppy Liu and Joel Kim Booster. The comedy centers on a former New York city councilman who finds his calling when faced with immigrants in need of his help and in search of the American Dream.
WAZ-Jackson Scoring NBC’s ‘Bluff City Law’
The composing duo of WAZ-Jackson (Cougar Town, Surviving Jack, Life Sentence) is scoring the new NBC drama Bluff City Law. The show is created by Dean Georgaris (The Manchurian Candidate, The Meg, The Brave) and stars Jimmy Smits, Caitlin McGee, Scott Shepherd, Barry Sloane, Michael Luwoye, MaameYaa Boafo, Stony Blyden and Jayne Atkinson. The series follows a group of lawyers at an elite Memphis law firm who specialize in controversial landmark civil rights cases.
Orchestral Version of ‘Friends’ Theme Song ‘I’ll Be There For You’ Released
WaterTower Music has released an orchestral version of the theme song I’ll Be There For You from the hit NBC comedy Friends. The new version of the song (which was originally written by show creators David Crane & Marta Kauffman, Michael Skloff & Allee Willis and The Rembrandts’ Phil Sōlem and Danny Wilde) is produced by Giles Martin, orchestrated and arranged by James Seymour Brett and performed by the London Metropolitan Orchestra. The track is now available to stream and download as a digital single on Amazon. Also listen to the full track after the jump. The release coincides with the 25th anniversary of the show starring Jennifer Aniston, Courtney Cox, Matthew Perry, Matt LeBlanc, David Schwimmer and Lisa Kudrow.

Jeff Russo Scoring NBC’s ‘The InBetween’
Jeff Russo is the composer of the new NBC drama The InBetween. The show is created by Moira Kirland (Castle, Madam Secretary) and stars Harriet Dyer, Justin Cornwell, Anne-Marie Johnson, Cindy Luna, Chad James Buchanan and Paul Blackthorne. The drama revolves around a woman who communicates with the dead and helps to solve murder cases. Kirland is also executive producing the Universal Television, NBCU International Television Studio and Heyday Television production with David Heyman (Harry Potter series, Gravity, Paddington), Nancy Cotton, Matthew Gross (Across the Universe, Body of Proof), as well as Charlotte Sieling (The Man) who also directed the pilot episode.
New Soundtrack Album for ‘Knight Rider’ Announced
Varese Sarabande has announced a new soundtrack album for the 1980s cult NBC series Knight Rider created by Glen A. Larson and starring David Hasselhoff, Edward Mulhare, Patricia McPherson, Rebecca Holden and Peter Parros. The soundtrack selections of the show’s original score composed by Stu Phillips (Battlestar Galactica, Quincy, Buck Rogers in the 25th Century), including the content of the 2005 soundtrack release for the series on the first disc, and previously unreleased music on the second disc. The 2-CD set is limited to 2,000 copies and is now available to order on the label’s official website, where you can also check out the full track list and listen to audio samples. A vinyl edition will be coming out tomorrow on Record Store Day.
