Lakeshore Records will release a soundtrack album for the sci-fi comedy drama Landscape with Invisible Hand. The album features the film’s original score composed by Michael Abels (Get Out, Us, Nope, Bad Education, Breaking, Nightbooks, Allen v. Farrow). The soundtrack will be released digitally this Friday, August 18 and will be available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. Landscape with Invisible Hand is written and directed by Cory Finley and stars Asante Blackk, Kylie Rogers and Tiffany Haddish. The movie based on M.T. Anderson’s book of the same name is set in the near-future years into a benevolent alien occupation of Earth and follows a 17-year-old artist and his girlfriend as they livestream their budding romance when they discover the alien species are particularly fascinated with human love and will pay for access to it.

The film is directed by Maggie Betts (Novitiate) and stars Jamie Foxx, Tommy Lee Jones, Jurnee Smollett, Bill Camp, Mamoudou Athie, Dorian Missick, Amanda Warren, Pamela Reed, Billy Slaughter, Jim Klock and Alan Ruck. The movie is based on a New Yorker article by Jonathan Harr and follows a personal injury lawyer known for his impressive track record and unconventional approach who decides to help a funeral home owner save his family business from a predatory corporate behemoth.
‘Chevalier’ Soundtrack Album Details
The full details of the soundtrack album for the biographical drama Chevalier have been revealed. The album features the film’s original score composed by Kris Bowers (King Richard, Green Book, Bridgerton, Dear White People, Space Jam: A New Legacy, When They See Us). Also included are several pieces by the titular composer Joseph Bologne, Chevalier de Saint-Georges, as well as tracks by Michael Abels (Us, Get Out, Nope) who was responsible for the movie’s on-screen musical performances and also created original works inspired by Chevalier’s remaining compositions. The soundtrack will be released digitally this Friday, April 21 by Hollywood Records (click here to stream/download). The first track on the album (Violin Concerto in G Major, Op. 8, No. 2: I. Allegro) is already available now. A vinyl edition will be coming out this summer and is available for pre-order on Amazon.

The movie starring Tiffany Haddish, Asante Blackk, Kylie Rogers, William Jackson Harper, Michael Gandolfini, Clifton Collins Jr., Josh Hamilton and Brooklynn MacKinzie is based on M.T. Anderson’s National Book Award-winning novel and revolves around two teenagers who have to come up with a plan to save their family when Earth is taken over by an alien race that controls the economy.
