Opening in theaters nationwide this weekend is the supernatural horror thriller Night Swim written and directed by Bryce McGuire and starring Wyatt Russell, Kerry Condon, Amélie Hoeferle and Gavin Warren. The film’s original music is composed by Mark Korven (The Black Phone, The Witch, The Lighthouse, Cube, Resident Evil: Welcome to Raccoon City, The Peripheral). Back Lot Music has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score today. Check out our soundtrack announcement for the full album details and to learn more about the Blumhouse & Atomic Monster production, which is being released by Universal Pictures.

Opening in select theaters and on VOD today is the action thriller The Bricklayer directed by Renny Harlin and starring Aaron Eckhart, Nina Dovrev, Tim Blake Nelson, Clifton Collins Jr. and Ilfenesh Hadera. Walter Mair (Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III, Formula 1: Drive to Survive, Till Death, Liaison, The Same Sky, Ronaldo, Cuffs) has composed the film’s original music. A soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score is in the works. ‘Night Swim’ Soundtrack Album Details

Back Lot Music will release the official soundtrack album for the supernatural horror thriller Night Swim. The album features the film’s original music composed by Mark Korven (The Witch, The Black Phone, The Lighthouse, Resident Evil: Welcome to Raccoon City, Cube, The Peripheral, The Terror: Infamy). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, January 5 and will be available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. Check out the composer’s opening and ending tracks after the jump. Night Swim is written and directed by Bryce McGuire and stars Wyatt Russell, Kerry Condon, Gavin Warren and Amélie Hoeferle. The movie produced by James Wan & Jason Blum revolves around a former major league baseball player who is forced into early retirement by a degenerative illness and moves into a new home with an iconic backyard swimming pool.

The film is written and directed by Bryce McGuire and stars Wyatt Russell, Kerry Condon, Gavin Warren and Amélie Hoeferle. The movie based on the 2014 short of the same title by Rod Blackhurst & McGuire and follows a former major league baseball player who is forced into early retirement by a degenerative illness and – together with his family – moves into a new home with an iconic backyard swimming pool.

Soundtrack Album for Amazon’s ‘The Peripheral’ to Be Released

Lakeshore Records will release a soundtrack album for the Amazon original series The Peripheral. The album features selections of the original music from the show’s first season composed by Mark Korven (The Black Phone, The Lighthouse, The Witch, Them, The Terror: Infamy, Resident Evil: Welcome to Raccoon City). The soundtrack will be released digitally this Friday, December 2 and will be available to stream/download here. The Peripheral is created by Scott B. Smith and stars Chloë Grace Moretz, Jack Reynor, Gary Carr, Eli Goree, Louis Herthum, JJ Feild, T’Nia Miller,Charlotte Riley, Alexandra Billings and Katie Leung.

Premiering on Tuesday, October 18, is the HBO original documentary Mama’s Boy directed by Laurent Bouzereau and produced by Mickey Liddell, Pete Shilaimon, Steven Shareshian, Darryl Frank & Justin Falvey. The film’s original music is composed by Raphaelle Thibaut (Secrets of the Whales, Introducing, Selma Blair, Fantastic Beasts: A Natural History). The Amblin Television and Playtone production, which centers on the upbringing of Academy Award-winning screenwriter Dustin Lance Black (Milk) and is based on his 2019 memoir Mama’s Boy: A Story from Our Americas, will air on HBO and will also be available to stream on HBO Max.

Premiering on Wednesday, October 19, is the Australian thriller The Stranger directed by Thomas M. Wright and starring Joel Edgerton, Sean Harris, Jada Alberts, Cormac Wright, Steve Mouzakis and Matthew Sunderland. Oliver Coates (Aftersun, Significant Other) has composed the film’s original music. A soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score is in the works. The movie, which premiered at this year’s Cannes Film Festival, was released theatrically in Australia earlier this month and will be available to stream worldwide on Wednesday on Netflix.

The sci-fi thriller follows a young woman stuck in a small Appalachian town who is testing a video game system that unlocks all of her dreams of finding a purpose, romance, and glamour in what seems like a game, but it also puts her and her family in real danger.

RCA Records has released a soundtrack album featuring the songs from the movie, including classic tracks by Elvis Presley, as well new tracks by Doja Cat, Swae Lee & Diplo, Eminem & CeeLo Green & others.
