Back Lot Music will release the official soundtrack album for the supernatural horror thriller The Black Phone. The album features the film’s original music composed by Mark Korven (The Witch, The LighthouseCubeResident Evil: Welcome to Raccoon CityThe Terror: Infamy, Them). The soundtrack will be released digitally on June 24, 2022 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. The composer’s main title track is already available to stream/download now and can be checked out below. The Black Phone is directed by Scott Derrickson and stars Ethan Hawke, Mason Thames, Jeremy Davies, Madeleine McGraw, and James Ransone. The movie is based on a short story by Joe Hill and follows a shy boy who is abducted and trapped in a soundproof basement, where he discovers that he can hear the voices of the killer’s previous victims through a disconnected phone on the wall. The Blumhouse production will be released in theaters nationwide on June 24 by Universal Pictures.
