Lakeshore Records will release a new soundtrack album for the Peacock original anthology series Dr. Death. The album features selections of the original music from the show’s second season composed by Leopold Ross (Monarch: Legacy of Monsters, Death Note, The Book of Eli, Triple 9) & Nick Chuba (The Girl from Plainville, Operation Varsity Blues). The soundtrack will be released digitally this Friday, January 5 and will be available to stream/download here. The label has previously released a soundtrack album featuring Atticus & Leopold Ross’ & Chuba’s score from the first season back in 2021. Season 2 of Dr. Death is written by Ashley Michel Hoban based on the Wondery podcast and stars Edgar Ramírez, Mandy Moore, Luke Kirby, Ashley Madekwe and Gustaf Hammarsten.

Premiering on Wednesday, December 20, is the Disney+ original series Percy Jackson and the Olympians developed by Rick Riordan & Jonathan E. Steinberg based on Riordan’s book series and starring Walker Scobell, Leah Sava Jeffries and Aryan Simhadri. Bear McCreary (The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power, Godzilla: King of the Monsters, 10 Cloverfield Lane, Outlander, The Walking Dead) has composed the themes for the show and Sparks & Shadows have provided the score. Hollywood Records will release a soundtrack album this coming Friday, December 22. Making its linear debut tonight is the Showtime original series The Curse created by Benny Safdie & Nathan Fielder and starring Emma Stone, Fielder and Safdie. The show’s original music is composed John Medeski and executive produced by Daniel Lopatin (Uncut Gems, Good Time). Milan Records will release a soundtrack album featuring the score this coming Friday, November 17. The comedy premiered this past Friday on Paramount+ with Showtime and will air every Sunday night on Showtime.
Also premiering today is the MGM+ original series Beacon 23 created by Zak Penn based on Hugh Howey’s best-selling book and starring Lean Headey and Stephan James. William Marriott has composed the show’s original score. Ramin Djawadi (Game of Thrones, Pacific Rim, Westworld, Iron Man, House of the Dragon, Eternals) has contributed the theme and also serves as the project’s music producer. Milan Records will release the official soundtrack album for the Apple TV+ original series Monarch: Legacy of Monsters. ‘Dreamin’ Wild’ Soundtrack Album Details
Light in the Attic Records will release the official soundtrack album for the biographical drama Dreamin’ Wild. The album features the music from the film by singer/songwriter Donnie Emerson, including classic tracks performed by Donnie & Joe Emerson and actor Noah Jupe (who stars as young Donnie), as well as the original end credits song When a Dream Is Beautiful performed by Donnie & Nancy Sophia Emerson. Also included are selections of the movie’s original score composed by Leopold Ross (The Book of Eli, Triple 9, Dr. Death). The soundtrack will be released on August 4 and is now available for pre-order here. A vinyl edition will be coming out later this year and is available to order on Amazon. Atticus Ross, Leopold Ross & Claudia Sarne Scoring FX’s ‘Dear Mama’
Atticus Ross (The Social Network, Soul, Watchmen, Gone Girl, Mank), Leopold Ross (Triple 9, Dispatches from Elsewhere) & Claudia Sarne (Shining Girls, Earthquake Bird) have composed the original score for the new FX documentary series Dear Mama. The show is directed by Allen Hughes and explores the life and legacy of hip-hop icon Tupac Shakur and his mother, the Black Panther activist Afeni Shakur. The 5-parter features archival footage and intimate conversations with those closest to the subjects.

Singer/songwriter Donnie Emerson and composer Leopold Ross (The Book of Eli, The Girl from Plainville, Triple 9, Dr. Death) have written the original music for the upcoming biographical drama Dreamin’ Wild. The film is written and directed by Bill Pohlad (Love & Mercy) and stars Casey Affleck, Noah Jupe, Zooey Deschanel, Jack Dylan Grazer, Chris Messina, Walton Goggins and Beau Bridges. The movie tells the true story of instrumental and vocal duo Donnie and Joe Emerson and the tumult that followed the success of their self-recorded pop-funk album of the same name.

The album features selections of the show’s original music composed by Leopold Ross (The Book of Eli, Triple 9, Dispatches from Elsewhere, Broken City) & Nick Chuba (Operation Varsity Blues, Dr. Death). The soundtrack will be released digitally this Friday, May 13 and will be available to stream/download here. The Girl from Plainville is created by Liz Hannah & Patrick Macmanus based on Jesse Barron’s Esquire article of the same name and stars Elle Fanning, Colton Ryan, Chloë Sevigny, Kai Lennox, Cara Buono and Norbert Leo Butz. The drama is inspired by the true story of Michelle Carter’s unprecedented “texting-suicide” case and explores the events that led to Conrad Roy III’s death.
