Jeff Russo (Fargo, Star Trek: Discovery, The Night Of, Legion, The Umbrella Academy) and Jordan Gagne (The Rookie) are teaming up to score the upcoming USA original series Treadstone. Russo has also composed the show’s main title theme. The drama is developed by Tim Kring (Heroes, Dig) based on the Bourne features and stars Jeremy Irvine, Michelle Forbes, Patrick Fugit, Michael Gaston, Shruti Haasan, Hyo Joo Han, Tess Haubrich and Tracy Ifeachor. The thriller is set amidst the CIA black ops program Operation: Treadstone and explores both the origin of the infamous covert program, as well as connecting to present-day special ops.

Jeff Russo and Jordan Gagne are scoring the upcoming Fox drama The Passage. The show is developed by Liz Heldens (Friday Night Lights, The Orville) based on Justin Cronin’s best-selling trilogy of the same name and stars Saniyya Sidney, Mark-Paul Gosselaar, Caroline Chikezie, Henry Ian Cusick, Vincent Piazza, Jamie McShane, Brianne Howey, McKinley Belcher III, and Emmanuelle Chriqui. The series focuses on Project NOAH, a secret medical facility where scientists are experimenting with a dangerous virus that could lead to the cure for all disease, but also carries the potential to wipe out the human race.

Jordan Gagne to Score ABC’s ‘The Rookie’
Jordan Gagne has been tapped to score the upcoming ABC drama The Rookie. The show is created by Alexi Hawley (Castle, The Following) and stars Nathan Fillion, Alyssa Diaz, Richard T. Jones, Titus Makin, Mercedes Mason, Melissa O’Neil, Afton Williamson and Eric Winter. The series follows a middle-aged small-town guy who moves to L.A. to pursue his dream of being a cop. Hawley is also executive producing the Entertainment One (eOne) and ABC Studios production with Fillion, Mark Gordon (Saving Private Ryan, Speed, Grey’s Anatomy), Michelle Chapman and Jon Steinberg, as well as Liz Friedlander (Conviction) who also directed the first episode.
Soundtrack Album for Paramount Network’s ‘Waco’ Released
Sony Classical has released a soundtrack album for the Paramount Network limited series Waco. The album features selections of the show’s original music composed by Jeff Russo (Fargo, The Night Of, Star Trek: Discovery, Legion, Altered Carbon) and Jordan Gagne. The soundtrack is now available to download on Amazon, where you can also listen to audio samples. Waco is created by John Erick Dowdle & Drew Dowdle and stars Michael Shannon, Taylor Kitsch, John Leguizamo, Andrea Riseborough, Rory Culkin, Melissa Benoist, Paul Sparks, Shea Whigham, Camryn Manheim and Julia Garner. The 6-parter is based on the true story of the 1993 FBI siege of a religious sect in Waco, Texas that resulted in the deadly shoot out and fire.
