Premiering on Friday, March 12, is the Netflix original film Yes Day directed by Miguel Arteta and starring Jennifer Garner, Edgar Ramirez, Jenna Ortega, Julian Lerner, Everly Carganilla, Arturo Castro, Nat Faxon, Fortune Feimster and Molly Sims. The film’s original music is composed by Michael Andrews (Donnie Darko, Bridesmaids, Bad Teacher, The Big Sick, Daddy’s Home, Freaks & Geeks, Instant Family). ‘Boss Level’ Soundtrack Album Details

Filmtrax will release the official soundtrack album for the sci-fi action thriller Boss Level. The album features the film’s original music composed by Clinton Shorter (District 9, The Expanse, Contraband, Colony, Tribes of Europa, Pompeii). Boss Level is co-written and directed by Joe Carnahan and stars Frank Grillo, Annabelle Wallis, Naomi Watts, Mel Gibson, Ken Jeong and Michelle Yeoh. Premiering tomorrow, March 1, is the NBC mystery drama Debris created by J.H. Wyman and starring Jonathan Tucker, Riann Steele, Norbert Leo Butz and Scroobius Pip. The show’s original music is composed by Raney Shockne (Queen of the South, Anger Management, The To Do List, Kevin Can Wait, The Wedding Year). The series, which revolves around a secretive international agency that is tasked with the mystery of a wreckage that starts falling from the sky, will air every Monday night on NBC. Also premiering tomorrow is the Netflix documentary Biggie: I Got a Story to Tell directed by Emmett Malloy and executive produced by Sean Combs, Voletta Wallace, Mark Pitts, Stanley Buchthal & Brendan Malloy about the life of one of the most influential rappers. Adam Peters (Savages, Icarus, Snowden, Sand Castle, The Dissident) has composed the film’s original score. Rhino Atlantic will release a soundtrack album featuring fourteen tracks by The Notorious B.I.G. Premiering tonight is the HBO docu-series Allen v. Farrow directed by Kirby Dick & Amy Ziering about the accusation of sexual abuse against Woody Allen involving his 7-year-old daughter with Mia Farrow. The show’s original music is composed by Michael Abels (Get Out, Us, Bad Education, All Day and a Night, See You Yesterday). Premiering in the U.S. tomorrow, February 22, is the HBO Europe original series Beartown (Björnstad) created by Anders Weidemann, Antonia Pyk & Linn Gottfridsson based on the Fredrik Backman’s novel of the same title and starring Ulf Stenberg and Aliette Opheim. Johan Testad (The Sandhamn Murders, Inkognito, Drifters) has composed the show’s original music. Music Super Circus has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score last fall when the series premiered in Scandinavia. ‘Nomadland’ Soundtrack to Be Released

Decca Classics will release a soundtrack album for Chloé Zhao’s drama Nomadland. The album features the compositions by Ludovico Einaudi (The Intouchables, The Father, Samba, This Is England) from the movie, as well as tracks by Ólafur Arnalds, Cat Clifford, Nat King Cole, Paul Winer, Donnie Miller & Tay Strathairn. The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, February 19. Visit Amazon or any other digital music store to stream/download the album and to check out audio samples. A CD version will be coming out on April 23 and is available to order here. Nomadland is written and directed by Zhao and stars Frances McDormand, David Strathairn, and real nomads Linda May, Swankie and Bob Wells. The movie takes place after the economic collapse of a company town in rural Nevada, and follows a woman who packs her van and sets off on the road exploring a life outside of conventional society as a modern-day nomad.

The album feature selections of the original music from the show composed by Ruth Barrett (Bodyguard, Collateral, Sanditon, Harry Brown, Victoria). The full details of the soundtrack album for the biographical drama The United States vs. Billie Holiday have been revealed. The album features the Billie Holiday songs from the film performed by lead actress Andra Day. Also included are the original songs Tigress & Tweed co-written by Day & Raphael Saadiq (already available as a digital single now) & Break Your Fall written by Warren Oak Felder & Coleridge Tillman, as well as The Devil and I Got Up to Dance a Slow Dance performed by Charlie Wilson and co-written by himself, Jamie Hartman, Felder & Tillmann. The soundtrack will be released digitally on February 19 by Warner Records and is now available for pre-order here. A CD version will be coming out on March 12 and is available to order on Amazon.

The track is performed by lead actress Andra Day who also co-wrote it with composer, singer/songwriter and record producer Raphael Saadiq (Lovecraft Country, Underground, Insecure). The song is now available as a digital single on Amazon and all other major digital music platforms and can also be checked out after the jump. The label has previously released Day’s covers of Holiday’s All of Me and Strange Fruit from the film.
