The details of the first soundtrack album for the Hulu original musical series Up Here have been revealed. The album features the original songs from the show’s first season written by Academy Award winners Kristen Anderson-Lopez & Robert Lopez (Frozen, The Book of Mormon, Coco, WandaVision) and performed by the series’ cast. The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, March 24 by Hollywood Records and will be available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. Jason Akana Scoring Broken Lizard’s Hulu Film ‘Quasi’
Jason Akana has recently scored the upcoming Hulu original movie Quasi. The film is directed Kevin Heffernan and stars Heffernan himself, Steve Lemme, Jay Chandrasekhar, Erik Stolhanske, Paul Soter (who also co-wrote the screenplay), as well as Adrianne Palicki. The comedy tells the story of a hapless hunchback who only yearns for love, but finds himself in the middle of a murderous feud between the Pope and the King of France when each orders the hunchback to kill the other.

Premiering in the U.S. tonight is the historical drama series Marie Antoinette created by Deborah Davis and starring Emilia Schüle, Louis Cunningham, James Purefoy, Jasmine Blackborow, Jack Archer, Marthe Keller, Gaia Weiss and Crystal Sheperd. The show’s original music is composed by Guillaume Roussel (Black Beauty, 3 Days to Kill, Happy!, The Spy, November). 22D Music has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score last fall when the series premiered in France. Walt Disney Records has released a soundtrack album for the Disney+ original documentary Finding Michael. The album features the film’s original music composed by Nick Harvey (Hunted, The Heist). Finding Michael is directed by Tom Beard and follows British TV personality Spencer Matthews as he heads to Everest to try and find his brother Michael who disappeared 23 years ago. Hollywood Records will release a soundtrack album for the true-crime thriller Boston Strangler. The album features the film’s original score composed by Paul Leonard-Morgan (Dredd, Limitless, Dynasty, Wormwood, Tales from the Loop). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, March 17 and will be available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. Boston Strangler is written and directed by Matt Ruskin and stars Keira Knightley, Carrie Coon, Alessandro Nivola, Morgan Spector, David Dastmalchian, Bill Camp and Chris Cooper. The 20th Century Studios production tells the true story of Loretta McLaughlin, a reporter for the Record-American newspaper, who becomes the first journalist to connect the Boston Strangler murders.

Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis Scoring Hulu’s ‘UnPrisoned’
Grammy Award-winning songwriters/music producers Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis have made their television scoring debut on Onyx Collective’s new Hulu original series UnPrisoned. They also serve as the executive music producers on the show created by Tracy McMillan and starring Kerry Washington, Delroy Lindo, Faly Rakotohavana, Marque Richardson and Jordyn McIntosh. The comedy is based on McMillan’s life and centers on a messy but perfectionist relationship therapist and single mom whose life is turned right-side-up when her dad gets out of prison and moves in with her and her teenage son.
