Beginning today, 20th Century Fox TV Records is releasing a batch of digital song singles from the Fox hit television series Family Guy. Starting with the Family Guy Main Title, composed by Walter Murphy, Seth MacFarlane and David Zuckerman, songs will be released every other week during the course of the season. Songs coming out this fall include a few of the most requested ones, including A Bag of Weed, The FCC Song, and the Emmy-nominated songs You’ve Got a Lot to See and Down’s Syndrome Girl. The first track is now available to download on iTunes and will also be available from other digital retailers soon.

Terence Blanchard to Score Fox’s ‘Shots Fired’
Terence Blanchard has been hired to score the upcoming Fox event series Shots Fired. The show is created by Gina Prince-Bythewood (Beyond the Lights, The Secret Life of Bees) & Reggie Rock Bythewood (Notorious, Biker Boyz) and stars Sanaa Lathan, Stephan James, Helen Hunt, Richard Dreyfuss, Stephen Moyer and Aisha Hinds. The drama examines the dangerous aftermath of racially charged shootings in a small town in North Carolina.
Ben Decter & Jeff Russo Scoring Fox’s ‘Lucifer’ Season 2
Ben Decter and Jeff Russo are the new composers of the Fox drama Lucifer. The show developed by Tom Kapinos based on the DC Comics characters created by Neil Gaiman, Sam Kieth & Mike Dringenberg stars Tom Ellis, Lauren German, Rachael Harris, DB Woodside, Lesley-Ann Brandt, Kevin Alejandro and Scarlett Estevez. The series revolves around the Lord of Hell who helps the LAPD punish criminals. Jerry Bruckheimer (Pirates of the Caribbean series, Top Gun, National Treasure) is executive producing the project with Jonathan Littman (CSI: Crime Scene Investigation), Ildy Modrovich, Joe Henderson, Len Wiseman (Underworld, Live Free or Die Hard) and KristieAnne Reed.
Sub Pop Records to Release ‘Bob’s Burgers’ Soundtrack
UPDATE (December 2016): The album is now scheduled to be released in 2017.
Sub Pop Records will release a soundtrack album for the Fox animated series Bob’s Burgers featuring the songs from the show. The album is set to be released later this fall, but four advance tracks, including the comedy’s theme song, as well as the songs Electric Love, Bad Stuff Happens in the Bathroom and St. Vincent’s cover of Bad Girls will be available to download this coming Tuesday, September 20. Check back on this page for the details of the full album. Bob’s Burgers created by Louren Bouchard and featuring the voices of H. Jon Benjamin, Dan Mintz, Eugene Mirman, Larry Murphy, John Roberts and Kristen Schaal follows Bob Belcher and his wife and three kids who try to run their last hope of holding the family together, which is running Bob’s dream restaurant.

Premiering tomorrow, September 19, is the new NBC comedy The Good Place created by Michael Schur (Parks and Recreation) and starring Kristen Bell, Ted Danson, Jameela Jamil, William Jackson Harper, Manny Jacinto and D’Arcy Carden. The show’s original music is composed by David Schwartz (Arrested Development, Northern Exposure, Reaper, Lady Dynamite). Fox’s ‘Pitch’ to Feature Music by Jon Ehrlich & Jason Derlatka and Black Violin
Jon Ehrlich & Jason Derlatka and Black Violin are composing the music for the new Fox drama Pitch. The show is created by Dan Fogelman (Crazy, Stupid, Love, Tangled, Galavant, Danny Collins) & Rick Singer and stars Kylie Bunbury, Mark-Paul Gosselaar, Ali Larter, Mark Consuelos, Dan Lauria, Mo McRae, Meagan Holder and Tim Jo. The series tells the story of Ginny Baker, who becomes the first woman to play Major League Baseball – under the glare of a white-hot media spotlight. Fogelman and Singer are also executive producing the 20th Century Fox Television production with Kevin Falls (Summer Catch), Tony Bill (The Sting, Flyboys), Helen Bartlett (Untamed Heart), Jess Rosenthal and Paris Barclay (Sons of Anarchy).

Soundtrack Details for Fox’s ‘The Rocky Horror Picture Show’
Ode Records will release a soundtrack album for the Fox television event The Rocky Horror Picture Show. The album features the songs from the two-hour re-imagining of the original movie performed by the film’s cast and written by Richard O’Brien. The soundtrack will be released on October 21, 2016 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. The Rocky Horror Picture Show is directed by Kenny Ortega (This Is It, High School Musical) and stars Laverne Cox, Victoria Justice, Adam Lambert, Ben Vereen, Christina Milian and Tim Curry. The movie executive produced by Ortega, Lou Adler and Gail Berman is a remake of the 1975 cult classic and follows sweethearts Janet and Brd who stumble upon Dr. Frank-n-Furter’s bizarre abode.
Leo Birenberg to Score Fox’s ‘Son of Zorn’
Leo Birenberg has been hired to score the upcoming Fox comedy Son of Zorn. The show is created by Reed Agnew & Eli Jorne (Wilfred) and starring Johnny Pemberton, Cheryl Hines, Tim Meadows, as well as Jason Sudeikis as the voice of Zorn. The live-action/animated hybrid series follows a legendary warrior who finds that reconnecting with his son and ex-wife, while suffering through a mundane office job and the banality of suburban life, is harder than waging actual war in his distant, mystical homeland of Zephyria. Agnew and Jorne are also executive producing the 20th Century Fox Television production with Phil Lord & Chris Miller (21/22 Jump Street, The Lego Movie, Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs) and Seth Cohen (The Last Man on Earth).
Daniel Hart to Score Fox’s ‘The Exorcist’ TV Series
Daniel Hart has been tapped to score the upcoming Fox drama The Exorcist. The show is created by Jeremy Slater (Fantastic Four, The Lazarus Effect) and stars Alfonso Herrera, Ben Daniels, Geena Davis, Brianne Howey, Hannah Kasulka and Kurt Egyiawa. The series is based on William Peter Blatty’s novel of the same title, which inspired William Friedkin’s Academy Award-winning 1973 feature and follows two very different priests tackling one family’s case of horrifying demonic possession. Slater is also executive producing the 20th Century Fox Television and Morgan Creek production with Rolin Jones, James & David Robinson (The Good Shepherd, Dream House, Exorcist: The Beginning), Barbara Wall and Roy Lee (The Lego Movie, The Strangers), as well as Rupert Wyatt (Rise of the Planet of the Apes, The Gambler) who also directed the pilot episode.
