Walt Disney Records has released the main title theme from Lucasfilm’s new Disney+ original series The Book of Boba Fett. The track written by Academy Award, Grammy and Emmy Award winner Ludwig Göransson (The Mandalorian, Black Panther, Creed, Tenet, Community, Venom) is now available to stream/download on all major digital music platforms, including Amazon. Two full soundtrack albums featuring music themes by Göransson and score by Joseph Shirley will be released on January 21 (Vol. 1 (Episodes 1-4)) Original and February 11 (Vol. 2 (Episodes 5-7)) on Feb. 11, 2022). The Book of Boba Fett created by Jon Favreau and starring Temuera Morrison & Ming-Na Wen follows the legendary bounty hunter and mercenary Fennec Shand as they navifate the galaxy’s underworld when they return to the sands of Tatooine to stake their claim on the territory once ruled by Jabba the Hutt and his crime syndicate.

Premiering on Tuesday, December 28, is the HBO documentary The Super Bob Einstein Movie written and directed by Danny Gold, produced by Gold, George Shapiro, Aimee Hyatt about the life and legacy of the late actor, writer and producer Bob Einstein. The movie features music by the Barenaked Ladies, including the original song Landed on My Head, which has been released as a digital single earlier this month by Raisin’ Records. The full details of the second soundtrack album for Marvel Studios’ Disney+ original series Hawkeye have been revealed. The album features the original music from the show’s final three episodes composed by Emmy Award winner Christophe Beck (WandaVision, Frozen, Ant-Man, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Edge of Tomorrow, Free Guy, The Hangover) & Michael Paraskevas (The Christmas Chronicles). Also included is the Marc Shaiman- & Scott Wittman-penned original song Save The City, which has previously been available as a digital single. The Vol. 2 (Episodes 4-6) soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, December 22 by Hollywood Records and Marvel Music and will be available to stream/download on Amazon (and any other digital music services).

Hollywood Records will release a soundtrack album for the Disney+ animated movie Diary of a Wimpy Kid. The album features the film’s original music composed by John Paesano (Daredevil, The Maze Runner, Invincible, Penny Dreadful: City of Angels, When the Game Stands Tall, spider-Man: Miles Morales). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, December 17 and will be available to stream/download here. Diary of a Wimpy Kid is directed by Swinton Scott and features the voice talent of Brady Noon, Ethan William Childress, Chris Diamantopoulos, Erica Cerra and Hunter Dillon. The 20th Century Animation production based on Jeff Kinney’s bestselling book series of the same title revolves around Greg Heffley, a kid with an active imagination as he tries to survive middle school.

Hollywood Records will release a soundtrack album for the documentary The Rescue. The album features the film’s original score by Daniel Pemberton (Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, The Trial of the Chicago 7, Birds of Prey, Steve Jobs, The Man from U.N.C.L.E., Ocean’s 8, Enola Holmes). Also included is the original song Believe co-written (with Pemberton & Gary Go) and performed by Aloe Blacc. The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, November 19 and will be available to stream/download on all major digital music platforms, including Amazon. The Rescue is directed by Elizabeth Chai Vasarhelyi & Jimmy Chin (Free Solo) and chronicles the the daring rescue of twelve boys and their coach from deep inside a flooded cave in Northern Thailand in 2018.

John Paesano (Daredevil, The Maze Runner, Invincible, Penny Dreadful: City of Angels, When the Game Stands Tall, The Star) has recently been recording his score for the upcoming Disney+ original movie Cheaper by the Dozen. The film is directed by Gail Lerner and stars Zach Braff, Gabrielle Union, Journee Brown, Kylie Rogers, Andre Robinson, Aryan Simhadri, Caylee Blosenski, Leo A. Perry, Christian Cote, Mykal-Michelle Harris, Sebastian Cote and Luke Prael. The comedy revolves around a multiracial, blended family of 12, navigating a hectic home life and their family business.
