Walt Disney Records will release a soundtrack album for the Disney+ original docuseries Among the Stars. The album features selections of the show’s original music composed by Colin Stetson (Hereditary, Color Out of Space, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, The First, Barkskins, Mayday). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, March 25 and will be available to stream/download here. Among the Stars is directed by Ben Turner and follows NASA astronaut Captain Chris Cassidy on a quest to get back in his spacesuit for one last mission. This 6-parter follows Chris and the wider team who take on missions that risk life, limb and reputation for the greater good of humankind.

Premiering tonight is the Peacock original series Bel-Air based on the classic 80s sitcom The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air and starring Jabari Banks, Adrian Holmes, Cassandra Freeman, O Coco Jones, lly Sholotan, Akira Akbar, Jordan L. Jones, Jimmy Akingbola and Simone Joy Jones. The show’s original music is composed by Terrace Martin and Robert Glasper (Miles Ahead, The Photograph). The rest of the season will debut weekly every Thursday on Peacock.
Premiering on Thursday, February 17, is the Paramount+ animated series Big Nate based on the best-selling children’s books written and drawn by Lincoln Peirce and starring Ben Giroux, Rob Delaney, Dove Cameron, Arnie Pantoja, Daniel MK Cohen, Charlie Schlatter, Bryce Charles, Kevin M Richardson and Carolyn Hennessy. Frederik Wiedmann (The Dragon Prince, Green Lantern: The Animated Series, Field of Lost Shoes, Occupation: Rainfall, Hangman, Doom: Annihilation) is composing the show’s original music. The Nickelodeon Animation Studios production, which follows an 11-year-old boy and his best friends as they navigate sixth grade with humor and style, will be available to stream on Paramount+.
Soundtrack Album for Netflix’s ‘Texas Chainsaw Massacre’ to Be Released
Milan Records will release a soundtrack album for the Netflix original film Texas Chainsaw Massacre. The album features the movie’s original music composed by Colin Stetson (Hereditary, Color Out of Space, The First, Mayday, Barksins). The soundtrack will be released digitally next Friday, February 18 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. A vinyl edition is also in the works. A first track (Every Last One) is already available to stream/download now and can be checked out after the jump. Texas Chainsaw Massacre is directed by David Blue Garcia and stars Sarah Yarkin, Elsie Fisher, Mark Burnham, Jacob Latimore, Moe Dunford, Alice Krige, Olwen Fouéré, Jessica Allain and Nell Hudson. The horror sequel produced by Fede Alvarez follows a group of influencers looking to breathe new life into a Texas ghost town when they encounter Leatherface, an infamous killer who wears a mask of human skin.

The album features the film’s original music composed by Colin Stetson (Hereditary, Color Out of Space, The First, Blue Caprice, Barkskins). Also included is the main title theme Mayday Song produced by Stetson and performed by Caroline Shaw. The soundtrack will be released digitally next Friday, October 1 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. Mayday Song and a track from Stetson’s score (Never Letting Go) are already available to stream/download now and can also be checked out below. Mayday is written and directed by Karen Cinorre and stars Grace Van Patten, Mia Goth, Juliette Lewis, Soko and Havana Rose Liu. The movie follows a young woman who is transported to a dreamlike and dangerous land where she joins an army of girls engaged in a neverending war along a rugged coast.

The horror film is directed by David Blue Garcia (Tejano) and stars Elsie Fisher, Sarah Yarkin, Jacob Latimore, Moe Dunford, Alice Krige. Mark Burnham, Nell Hudson, Olwen Fouéré, Jessica Allain, Sam Douglas, William Hope and Jolyon Coy. No plot details have been announced yet. Chris Thomas Devlin wrote the screenplay.

The film is written and directed by Karen Cinorre and stars Grace Van Patten, Mia Goth, Havana Rose Liu, Soko, Théodore Pellerin and Juliette Lewis. The movie follows a young woman who is mysteriously transported to an alternate world after a short circuit at her workplace and meets a crew of female soldiers caught in an endless war. Cinorre is also producing the project with Jonah Disend, Lucas Joaquin (Love Is Strange, Selah and the Spades) and director of photography Sam Levy (Lady Bird, Frances Ha).
