Paramount Music will release a soundtrack album for the comedy Like a Boss. The album features the film’s original music composed by Christophe Beck (Frozen, Ant-Man, Edge of Tomorrow, Buffy the Vampire Slayer) & Jake Monaco (Let’s Be Cops, Dumplin’, Keeping Up with the Joneses). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, January 10 and will be available to stream/download here. Like a Boss is directed by Miguel Arteta and stars Tiffany Haddish, Rose Byrne, Salma Hayek, Billy Porter, Jennifer Coolidge, Ari Graynor, Natasha Rothwell, Jessica St. Clair and Karan Soni.

Three new movies are opening in theaters nationwide this weekend:
Opening in most theaters is the animated sequel Frozen II directed by Chris Buck & Jennifer Lee and starring Kristen Bell, Idina Menzel, Jonathan Groff and Josh Gad. Christophe Beck (Ant-Man, The Muppets, Edge of Tomorrow) has composed the film’s original score and Kristen Anderson-Lopez & Robert Lopez have composed the original songs. Also opening wide is the biographical drama A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood directed by Marielle Heller and starring Tom Hanks, Matthew Rhys, Susan Kelechi Watson and Chris Cooper. The film’s original music is composed by Nate Heller (Can You Ever Forgive Me?, The Diary of a Teenage Girl). ‘Frozen 2’ Deluxe Edition Soundtrack Released
Walt Disney Records has released the deluxe edition soundtrack for the animated feature Frozen 2. The album features all the songs from the movie written by Kristen Anderson-Lopez & Robert Lopez, including instrumental versions, as well as the end credits songs by Panic! At The Disco, Kacey Musgraves and Weezer. Also included is the film’s original score composed by Christophe Beck (Ant-Man, The Muppets, The Hangover, Edge of Tomorrow). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon Music, where you can also check out audio clips. The label is also releasing the regular and previously announced soundtrack for the movie today.

Opening in most theaters is the horror thriller Countdown written and directed by Justin Dec and starring Elizabeth Lail, Jordan Calloway, Talitha Bateman, Tichina Arnold, P.J. Christophe Beck to Score Shawn Levy’s ‘Free Guy’
Christophe Beck (Frozen, Ant-Man, Edge of Tomorrow, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, The Hangover, The Muppets) is reuniting with director Shawn Levy on the upcoming sci-fi action comedy Free Guy. The film starring Ryan Reynolds, Jodie Comer, Lil Rel, Joe Keery, Utkarsh Ambudkar & Taika Waititi follows a bank teller who realizes he’s living in a video game and tries to prevent the makers of the game from shutting down his world. Matt Lieberman (The Addams Family, The Christmas Chronicles) wrote the screenplay with Zak Penn (Ready Player One, The Incredible Hulk). Levy & Reynolds are also producing the project with Greg Berlanti & Sarah Schechter (The Flash, Arrow, Riverdale) and Adam Kolbrenner (Prisoners).

Christophe Beck (Frozen, Ant-Man, Edge of Tomorrow, Trolls, Buffy the Vampire Slayer) and Jake Monaco (Dumplin’, Keeping Up with the Joneses, Absolutely Fabulous: The Movie) have recently been recording their score for the upcoming comedy Like a Boss. The film stars Tiffany Haddish, Rose Byrne, Salma Hayek, Billy Porter, Jennifer Coolidge, Ari Graynor, Natasha Rothwell, Jessica St. Clair and Karan Soni. The movie follows two female friends who build a successful company, then find their relationship tested following a buyout offer. Sam Pitman & Adam Cole-Kelly wrote the screenplay.
Christophe Beck Scoring Lesley Chilcott’s ‘Watson’
Christophe Beck (Frozen, Ant-Man, Edge of Tomorrow, The Hangover, Buffy the Vampire Slayer) has recently composed the original score for the upcoming documentary Watson. The film is directed by Lesley Chilcott (CodeGirl) and centers on Captain Paul Watson who has dedicated his life to fighting for one thing: to end the slaughter of the ocean’s wildlife and the destruction of its ecosystems. Chilcott is also producing the project with Louise Runge (28 Hotel Rooms, Anything) and Wolfgang Knöpfler (The Ivory Game, Sea of Shadows).

Premiering tonight is the Showtime limited series Escape at Dannemora directed by Ben Stiller, written by Brett Johnson & Michael Tolkin and starring Benicio Del Toro, Patricia Arquette, Paul Dano, Bonnie Hunt, Eric Lange and David Morse. The show’s original music is composed by Edward Shearmur (Charlie’s Angels, Cruel Intentions, Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow, Johnny English). Christophe Beck Scoring Netflix’s ‘The Christmas Chronicles’
Christophe Beck is currently scoring the upcoming Netflix original movie The Christmas Chronicles. The film is directed by Clay Kaytis (The Angry Birds Movie) and stars Kurt Russell as Santa Claus. The family comedy centers on two siblings who try to prove that Santa is real by catching him on camera. When they accidentally cause his sleigh to crash in Chicago, they have to help get Christmas back on track before it’s ruined. Matt Lieberman wrote the screenplay based on an original idea by himself and David Guggenheim (Designated Survivor).
