The full details of the soundtrack album for the biographical drama Respect have been announced. The album features the Aretha Franklin songs from the movie performed by lead actress Jennifer Hudson. Also included is the original song Here I Am (Singing My Way Home) co-written and performed by Hudson (already available to stream/download now). The soundtrack will be coming out digitally and physically (on CD and vinyl) on August 13 by Epic Records and is now available for pre-order in all formats on Amazon. A second track from the album, (You Make Me Feel Like A) Natural Woman, has recently been released and can be checked out after the jump.
