Back Lot Music has released a soundtrack album for the animated movie Curious George: Cape Ahoy. The album features the film’s original score composed by Dara Taylor (The Tender Bar, Barb and Star Go to Vista Del Mar, Little Ellen, Echo Boomers). Also included are the original songs from the movie written by Michele Brourman & Amanda McBroom (Curious George: Royal Monkey & Go West Go Wild) and performed by Rob Trow. Daniel Rojas Scoring Hulu’s ‘Marvel’s Hit-Monkey’

Daniel Rojas (Kipo and the Age of Wonderbeasts) has been tapped to score the upcoming Hulu animated series Marvel’s Hit-Monkey. The show is created by Josh Gordon & Will Speck (Blades of Glory, Office Christmas Party, The Switch) based on the Marvel Comics characters and features the voices of Fred Tatasciore, Jason Sudeikis, George Takei, Ally Maki, Nobi Nakanishi and Olivia Munn. The series follows a Japanese snow monkey who joins forces with the ghost of an American assassin after his tribe is slaughtered, and together, they begin killing their way through the Yakuza underworld. All3Media has released a soundtrack album for the British Amazon original series The Feed. The album features selections of the show’s original music composed by Jon Opstad (Black Mirror, The Woman in White, We Hunt Together, Silent Witness, Safe House). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon (and any other major digital music services), where you can also check out audio samples. The Feed is created by Channing Powell based on Nick Clark Windor’s novel of the same title and stars Guy Burnet, Nina Toussaint-White, Michelle Fairley and David Thewlis. John Debney to Return for Disney+’s ‘Hocus Pocus 2’

John Debney (The Jungle Book, The Passion of the Christ, Iron Man 2, Elf, The Emperor’s New Groove) is set to return as the composer of the upcoming Disney+ original movie Hocus Pocus 2. The film will be directed by Anne Fletcher (The Proposal, 27 Dresses, Step Up) and will star Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker & Kathy Najimy who are reprising their roles of the Sanderson Sisters. The sequel follows three young women who accidentally bring the trio back to modern day Salem and must figure out how to stop the child-hungry witches from wreaking a new kind of havoc on the world. Opening exclusively in theaters nationwide this weekend is the superhero movie Venom: Let There Be Carnage directed by Andy Serkis and starring Tom Hardy, Woody Harrelson, Michelle Williams, Naomie Harris, Reid Scott and Stephen Graham. The film’s original score is composed by Marco Beltrami (A Quiet Place, Logan, Scream, 3:10 to Yuma, The Wolverine, Hellboy). Sony Classical has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score today (click here for the full album details). Also available now is the original end titles song Last One Standing by Skylar Grey feat. Polo G, Mozzy & Eminem (click here to listen to the track and for more information about the Sony Pictures release).
Also opening wide while also coming out on PVOD today is the animated feature The Addams Family 2 directed by Greg Tiernan & Conrad Vernon and starring Oscar Isaac, Chloë Grace Moretz, Charlize Theron, Nick Kroll, Snoop Dogg, Wallace Shawn, Javon “Wanna” Walton, Bette Midler and Bill Hader. Mychael Danna & Jeff Danna (Onward, The Good Dinosaur, Storks) have composed the film’s original score. Ghost’s Original Song ‘Hunter’s Moon’ from ‘Halloween Kills’ Released

Loma Vista Recordings has released the original song Hunter’s Moon from the slasher sequel Halloween Kills. The track, which plays over the movie’s end titles sequence, is performed by the Swedish rock band Ghost and is now available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music sites. As previously reported, the film’s official soundtrack album featuring the original score by will be released on October 15 Sacred Bones Records.
