Silva Screen Records has announced five soundtrack albums for the BBC Earth natural history series The Mating Game. The albums feature the original music from the show composed by Tom Howe (Ted Lasso, Early Man,Great British Bake Off, A Shaun the Sheep Movie: Farmageddon, Professor Marston & the Wonder Women) . The first two albums for the first two episodes (Grasslands: In Plain Sight & Oceans: Out of the Blue) have been released digitally last Friday and are now available to stream. Two more albums for the episodes Jungles: In the Thick of It & Freshwater: Timing Is Everything will be coming out this Friday, December 3 and a final soundtrack featuring the score from the episode Against All Odds will be released on December 10. The Mating Game is narrated by Sir David Attenborough and tells the story behind the most fascinating, hilarious and dramatic quests to find a mate and leave a lasting legacy. Hollywood Records has released the first track from the soundtrack for Steven Spielberg’s new film adaptation of West Side Story. Available to stream/download now on all major digital music platforms is Balcony Scene (Tonight) performed by cast members Rachel Zegler & Ansel Elgort. The song originally written by Leonard Bernstein (music) and Stephen Sondheim (lyrics) is produced by David Newman (who also arranged the track), Matt Sullivan and Jeanine Tesori. Tôt Ou Tard has released a soundtrack album for the French documentary Animal. The album features the film’s original music composed by Sébastien Hoog & Xavier Polycarpe (J’irai mourir dans les Carpates). Animal is produced an directed by Cyril Dion (Tomorrow) and follows two teenage activists who travel around the world to meet with scientists and activists, searching for another way of living alongside other species, as co-habitants rather than predators.
