Sacred Bones Records will release the official soundtrack album for the horror sequel Halloween Ends. The album features the film’s original music composed by John Carpenter, Cody Carpenter & Daniel Davies who previously co-scored the 2018 Halloween film and last year’s sequel Halloween Kills. The soundtrack will be released digitally on October 14, 2022 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. A first track (The Procession) is already available to stream/download now and can be checked out below. Physical versions will be coming out on January 20, 2023 (click here to order the CD and vinyl editions). Halloween Ends is co-written and directed by David Gordon Green and stars Jamie Lee Curtis, Andi Matichak, James Jude Courtney, Rohan Campbell, Will Patton and Kyle Richards. Neon announced today that composer Antonio Pinto (City of God, Nine Days, McFarland, USA, The Boy Who Harnessed the Wind, Lord of War) is set to reteam with director Asif Kapadia on the upcoming documentary thriller 2073. The film is inspired by Chris Marker’s 1962 experimental sci-fi movie La Jetée and centers on the challenges humanity will face in a dystopian future 50 years from now. Music Box Records has announced a soundtrack album for the French comedy drama Driving Madeleine (Une belle course). The album features the film’s original music composed, orchestrated and conducted by Philippe Rombi (Swimming Pool, Joyeux Noel, In the House, Angel, Asterix: The Secret of the Magic Potion). Also included are two songs by Dinah Washington and Etta James. The soundtrack will be released this coming Friday, September 16.
