Viacom International has released a soundtrack album for the Paramount+ original movie Honor Society. The album features the film’s original music composed by Ben Zeadman & Daniel Markovich (Love Possibly). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. Honor Society is directed by Oran Zegman and stars Angourie Rice, Gaten Matarazzo, Armani Jackson, Christopher Mintz-Plasse and Amy Keum. The YA comedy follows an ambitious high school senior whose sole focus is getting into an Ivy League college and concocts plans to take down her competitors in order to secure a recommendation from her guidance counselor. Intrada Records has announced two new soundtrack albums for the 1985 sci-fi horror thriller Lifeforce directed by Tobe Hooper and starring Steve Railsback, Peter Firth, Mathilda May, Frank Finlay and Patrick Stewart. The first album features the remastered original score from the film composed Academy Award winner Henry Mancini (Breakfast at Tiffany’s, The Pink Panther, Santa Claus: The Movie, The Thorn Birds, Charade, The Great Mouse Detective) on 2 CDs (visit the label’s official website for the full album details and to order the soundtrack). The film directed by Matt Sobel (Take Me to the River) is based on the 2014 Austrian feature of the same title and stars Naomi Watts, Cameron Crovetti, Nicholas Crovetti and Peter Hermann. The psychological horror thriller follows two twin brothers as they arrive home to find their mother’s demeanor altered and face covered in bandages and begin to suspect the woman beneath the gauze might not be their mother. The album features selections of the original score from the show’s second and third season composed by Brandon Roberts (Chaos Walking, The Woman in Black 2: Angel of Death, Underwater, Fear Street Part 2: 1978, The Twilight Zone, TURN: Washington’s Spies). Also included are lead actress Taylor Hickson’s covers of Peter Gabriel’s The Book of Love and The Velvet Underground’s I’ll Be Your Mirror.
