Intrada Records has announced a new soundtrack album for the 1993 action adventure The Three Musketeers directed by Stephen Herek and starring Charlie Sheen, Kiefer Sutherland, Chris O’Donnell, Tim Curry, Oliver Platt and Rebecca De Morna. The album features the complete and remastered original score from the Walt Disney Pictures & Caravan Pictures production composed and conducted by Academy Award nominee Michael Kamen (Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves, Die Hard, Lethal Weapon, X-Men, The Iron Giant, License to Kill, Mr. Holland’s Opus), including almost an hour of previously unreleased music, as well as a couple few alternate and source cues and the content of Hollywood Records’ original 1993 soundtrack album (which includes the original song All for Love co-written by Kamen and performed by Bryan Adams, Rod Stewart & Sting).

‘Licence to Kill’ 35th Anniversary Soundtrack Album Announced
La-La Land Records has announced a new soundtrack album for the 1989 James Bond movie Licence to Kill directed by John Glen and starring Timothy Dalton, Carey Lowell,Robert Davi, Anthony Zerbe and Talisa Soto. The 35th Anniversary Edition album features the remastered and expanded original score from the film composed and conducted by Academy Award nominee Michael Kamen (Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves, X-Men, Die Hard, Lethal Weapon, The Iron Giant, The Three Musketeers, Mr. Holland’s Opus), including previously unreleased music. Also included are two versions of the title song performed by Gladys Knight. The 2- CD set, which is limited to 5,000 copies, is now available to order in the 007 Store and on the label’s official website, where you can also find out more about the release and listen to audio samples.
Expanded ‘Last Action Hero’ Score Album Announced
La-La Land Records has announced a new soundtrack album for the 1993 fantasy action comedy Last Action Hero directed by John McTiernan and starring Arnold Schwarzenegger, Austin O’Brien, F. Murray Abraham, Art Carney, Mercedes Ruehl, Charles Dance, Frank McRae, Robert Prosky, Tom Noonan and Anthony Quinn. The album features the film’s expanded and remastered original score composed and conducted by Academy Award nominee Michael Kamen (Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves, Mr. Holland’s Opus, Die Hard, Lethal Weapon, X-Men, The Three Musketeers, The Iron Giant), including around an hour of previously unreleased music. Quartet Records has announced the world premiere soundtrack release for the 1981 British horror thriller Venom directed by Piers Haggard and starring Sterling Hayden, Klaus Kinski, Sarah Miles, Nicol Williamson, Oliver Reed, Cornelia Sharpe, Susan George and Lance Holcomb. The album features the film’s original music composed and conducted by Grammy Award winner and Academy Award nominee Michael Kamen (Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves, Die Hard, X-Men, Lethal Weapon, The Three Musketeers, The Iron Giant, Mr. Holland’s Opus) who recorded his score with the National Philharmonic Orchestra. Varese Sarabande will release a new soundtrack album for the 1999 animated feature The Iron Giant co-written and directed by Brad Bird and starring Jennifer Aniston, Harry Connick, Jr., Vin Diesel, James Gammon and Cloris Leachman. The album features the expanded original score from the Warner Bros. Feature Animation production composed by Academy Award nominee Michael Kamen (Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves, X-Men, Die Hard, The Three Musketeers, Lethal Weapon, Mr. Holland’s Opus), including previously unreleased music and cues not used in the film. The Deluxe Edition soundtrack will released digitally and physically tomorrow, March 11. Walt Disney Records has released a digital version of the soundtrack album for Touchstone Pictures’ 1987 teen comedy Adventures in Babysitting directed by Chris Columbus and starring Elisabeth Shue, Keith Coogan, Anthony Rapp and Maia Brewton. The album features the film’s original score composed and conducted by Michael Kamen (Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves, Die Hard, X-Men, Band of Brothers, Lethal Weapon), as well as the songs Babysitting Blues performed by Albert Collins, Shue, Maia Brewton, Coogan & Rapp and Just Can’t Stop by Percy Sledge. Pictures/Morgan Creek production composed and conducted by Michael Kamen (Die Hard, Lethal Weapon, X-Men, Mr. Holland’s Opus, Band of Brothers), including almost half an hour of previously unreleased music. The first two discs include the composer’s expanded score, the third disc features alternate takes and additional music and the fourth disc includes the assembly of the original 1991 soundtrack album.
