Milan Records has released a soundtrack album for the Norwegian drama Armand. The album features the film’s original music composed by Ella van der Woude (Take Me Somewhere Nice, Above the Dust, Something You Said Last Night, Instinct, Stranger in Paradise). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. Also listen to the composer’s first track (With Me) after the jump. Armand is written and directed by Halfdan Ullmann Tøndel and stars Renate Reinsve, Ellen Dorrit Petersen, Thea Lambrechts Vaulen, Øystein Røger, Endre Hellestveit and Vera Veljovic. The movie, which has recently been selected as Norway’s entry for the International Feature category for next year’s Academy Awards, follows a local actress who gets caught up in an elementary school drama when her son is accused by a classmate of sexual abuse. Back Lot Music has released the first two tracks from the soundtrack for Robert Eggers’ reimagining of F. W. Murnau’s 1922 classic Nosferatu. Available to stream/download as a digital single on all major digital music services are Goodbye & Increase thy Thunders written by the movie’s composer Robin Carolan (The Northman). Super Cassettes Industries has released a soundtrack EP for the Indian action epic Devara: Part 1. The 4-track EP features the songs from the film written by Anirudh Ravichander (Petta, Kaththi), with lyrics by Ramajogayya Sastry, and is now available to stream on most other major digital music services in five different versions: Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Malayalam and Kannada. Opening in theaters nationwide this weekend is the animated feature The Wild Robot written and directed by Chris Sanders and starring Lupita Nyong’o, Pedro Pascal, Kit Connor, Catherine O’Hara, Bill Nighy, Stephanie Hsu, Matt Berry, Ving Rhames and Mark Hamill. The film’s original score is composed by Kris Bowers (Bridgerton, Green Book, King Richard, Haunted Mansion, Secret Invasion, The Color Purple, Dear White People, Mrs. America). Back Lot Music has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s music, as well as two original songs co-written and performed by Maren Morris today. Osvaldo Golijov (Youth Without Youth, The Man Who Cried, Twixt, The Oath) has composed the film’s original score.
