Premiering on Wednesday, March 1, is the new CBS drama True Lies developed by Matt Nix inspired by James Cameron’s 1994 movie and starring Steve Howey, Ginger Gonzaga, Erica Hernandez, Omar Miller, Mike O’Gorman, Lucas Jaye and Annabella Didion.The show’s original music is composed by Toby Chu (Bao, Legends of Oz: Dorothy’s Return, Covert Affairs, Found, Fistful of Vengeance, Unforgettable). Also premiering on Wednesday in the U.S. is the British horror comedy series Wreck created by Ryan J. Brown and starring Oscar Kennedy, Thaddea Graham, Jack Rowan, Anthony Rickman, Louis Boyer, Alice Noakes, Miya Ocego, Peter Claffey and Jodie Tyack. Steve Lynch (Let Us Prey, Boys from Hell) is composing the show’s original music. A soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score from Season 1 was released last December. Soundtrack Album for HBO’s ‘The Last of Us’ TV Series to Be Released

Milan Records will release the first soundtrack album for the HBO original series The Last of Us. The album features the original music from the show’s first season composed by Gustavo Santaolalla (Brokeback Mountain, Babel, The Book of Life, The Motorcycle Diaries) & David Fleming (Hillbilly Elegy, The Unforgivable, Blue Planet II, South of Heaven) . The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, February 27 and will be available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. The Last of Us is developed by Craig Mazin & Neil Druckmann based on the hit video game and stars Pedro Pascal, Bella Ramsey, Gabriel Luna, Murray Bartlett, Anna Torv, Nick Offerman, Nico Parker, Storm Reid, Melanie Lynskey and Merle Dandridge. Tom Howe (Ted Lasso, A Shaun the Sheep Movie: Farmageddon, Professor Marston and the Wonder Women, Early Man, The Amazing Maurice) is the composer of the new Amazon limited series Daisy Jones & the Six. The show is created by Scott Neustadter & Michael H. Weber (500 Days of Summer, The Fault in Our Stars) based on Taylor Jenkins Reid’s bestselling novel of the same title and starring Riley Keough, Sam Claflin, Camila Morrone, Suki Waterhouse, Josh Whitehouse, Will Harrison, Nabiyah Be, Tom Wright, Sebastian Chacon, Teddy Price and Timothy Olyphant. Alexandre Desplat, Roeban Katz, Guillermo del Toro & Patrick McHale were honored with their first award Annie Award in Feature category for their music from the Netflix film Guillermo del Toro’s Pinocchio at tonight’s 50th Annie Awards ceremony at UCLA’s Royce Hall. Fallout Shelter Recordings has released a soundtrack album for the HBO original documentary Tony Hawk: Until the Wheels Fall Off. The album features the film’s original score composed by Jeff Cardoni (Silicon Valley, Heels, The Kominsky Method, Mike and Dave Need Wedding Friends, CSI: Miami, Ghosts, Just Friends). The soundtrack is now available to stream/download on Amazon and any other major digital music services. Tony Hawk: Until the Wheels Fall Off is directed by directed by Sam Jones and takes an all-encompassing look at the life and career of the pioneer of modern vertical skating and one of the most influential skateboarders of all time. Opening in theaters nationwide this weekend is the action comedy Cocaine Bear directed by Elizabeth Banks and starring Keri Russell, O’Shea Jackson, Jr., Christian Convery-Jennings, Alden Ehrenreich, Margo Martindale, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Brooklynn Prince and Ray Liotta. The film’s original music is composed by Mark Mothersbaugh (Thor: Ragnarok, The LEGO Movie, The Royal Tenenbaums, Cloudy with a a Chance of Meatballs). Back Lot Music has released a soundtrack album featuring the composer’s score and Pusha T’s White Lines remix today. Also opening nationwide is the faith-based drama Jesus Revolution directed by Jon Erwin & Brent McCorkle (I Can Only Imagine, Steve McQueen: American Icon) and starring Joel Courtney, Anna Grace Barlow, Jonathan Roumie, Kimberly Williams-Paisley and Kelsey Grammer. The album features the film’s original music composed by Andrew Morgan Smith (Jeepers Creepers III, The Old Way, You Might Be the Killer, The Culling). ‘What the Hell Happened to Blood, Sweat & Tears?’ Soundtrack Album Details

Omnivore Recordings will release a soundtrack album for the documentary What the Hell Happened to Blood, Sweat & Tears?. The album features ten previously unissued live recordings from the titular band’s 1970 Iron Curtain tour recorded in Yugoslavia, Romania and Poland. The soundtrack will be released digitally and physically on April 21. Visit Amazon to pre-order the CD version. Executive producers Glenn Weiss and Ricky Kirshner announced today that actress/singer Sofia Carson, accompanied by songwriter Diane Warren, will perform the Academy Award-nominated song Applause from the anthology film Tell It like a Woman at the 95th Oscar ceremony, hosted by Jimmy Kimmel, on Sunday, March 12, 2023.
