Studiocanal has released a digital version of the soundtrack album for the 1994 crime drama See How They Fall (Regarde les hommes tomber) co-written and directed by Jacques Audiard and starring Jean-Louis Trintignant, Jean Yanne and Mathieu Kassovitz. Opening in theaters nationwide this weekend is the crime drama The Bikeriders written and directed by Jeff Nichols and starring Austin Butler, Tom Hardy, Jodie Comer, Norman Reedus, Michael Shannon, Mike Faist, Boyd Holbrook, Damon Herriman, Beau Knapp, Emory Cohen and Karl Glusman. The film’s original score is composed by David Wingo (Barry, Mayans, M.C., The Report, Our Brand Is Crisis, Kidding). Mutant and Back Lot Music will release a soundtrack album featuring thirteen 60s songs from the movie by artists such as The Sonics, Gary U.S. Bonds, Dale Hawkins, The Stooges, The Staple Singers, The Shangri-Las, Mickey Murray, among others, as a vinyl edition later this summer. Also opening wide is the horror thriller The Exorcism co-written and directed by Joshua John Miller and starring Russell Crowe, Sam Worthington, Ryan Simpkins, Chloe Bailey, David Hyde Pierce and Adam Goldberg. The show is created by Ramón Campos & Gema R. Neira (Grand Hotel, Cable Girls) and Paula Fernández inspired by Sandra Barneda’s bestselling novel La tierra de las mujeres and stars Eva Longoria, Carmen Maura, Victoria Bazúa and Santiago Cabrera. The 6-part dramedy directed by Carlos Sedes revolves around a well-to-do New Yorker who has her life turned upside down when her husband fails to repay a debt to the wrong people and is forced to leave the city with her mother and teenage daughter and travel to her mother’s hometown in northern Spain to start life anew and hope their identities remain hidden. Varese Sarabande has announced a new soundtrack album for the 1999 sports drama For the Love of the Game directed by Sam Raimi and starring Kevin Costner, Kelly Preston, Jena Malone, John C. Reilly and Brian Cox. The album features the features the expanded original score from the film composed and conducted by Basil Poledouris (Conan the Barbarian, RoboCop, Starship Troopers, The Blue LagoonThe Hunt for Red October, Lonesome Dove), including around 45 minutes of previously unreleased music. The Deluxe Edition soundtrack is now available to order as a limited edition CD on the label’s official website and will also be coming out digitally next Friday, June 28 (click here to stream/download). The label has previously released the original score album, while MCA Records has released a separate soundtrack featuring the songs from the movie when the drama opened in theaters in 1999.
