Rob Lane (John Adams, A Discovery of Witches, Merlin, The Winter King, The Damned United, Atlantis, Beowulf) has composed the original score for the new Channel 5 original drama The Rumour. The show is written by Giula Sandler (The House Across the Street) based on the bestselling novel of the same title by Lesley Kara and stars Rachel Shenton, Emily Atack, Joanne Whalley, Samuel Anderson, Lucy Speed, Ellie Haddington, Carryl Thomas, Liza Sadovy, Alex Waldmann, Tamzin Griffin and Okezie Morro.
