Opening in theaters nationwide this week is the monster movie Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire directed by Adam Wingard and starring Rebecca Hall, Brian Tyree Henry, Dan Stevens, Alex Ferns, Kaylee Hottle and Fala Chen. The film’s original music is composed by Tom Holkenborg (Mad Max: Fury Road, Deadpool, Sonic the Hedgehog, Zack Snyder’s Justice League, Alita: Battle Angel) and Antonio Di Iorio. WaterTower Music has released a soundtrack album featuring the composers’ score last Friday. Also opening nationwide this weekend is the Irish crime thriller In the Land of Saints & Sinners directed by Robert Lorenz and starring Liam Neeson, Kerry Condon, Ciaran Hinds and Jack Gleeson. Diego Baldenweg with Nora Baldenweg & Lionel Baldenweg (Zwingli, Head Full of Honey, Born to Spy, The Little Witch) have composed the film’s original music. Sony Masterworks will release a soundtrack album featuring the composers’ score on April 26. A first track (Irish Western Ballad) is already available to stream/download now.
